The search leads them to Carter’s locked computer in the crew quarters, which requires a code found in Directive 8020. Players must explore the environment for clues to unlock the computer and help Eisele uncover what happened to the missing crew.
How to Find Carter’s PC Key Code in Directive 8020
In the game Directive 2080, players can find Carter’s computer while helping Eisele investigate in the “Sleuth” section of episode two.
While exploring the Cassiopeia, players will come across Carter’s locked computer, which has a sticky note attached. To unlock it, they’ll need to decipher the clue on the note – the word “Luna” – to find the correct key code.
This puzzle is one of the first you’ll encounter in Directive 8020, and it’s fairly simple to solve. Just go to the main room in Carter’s cabin and look at the calendar on the wall. When you examine it, you’ll find Luna’s birthday – August 28, 2065 – circled.
To unlock Carter’s PC, you need to enter Luna’s birthday – the code ‘2808’ – while interacting with it in Directive 8020. Doing this will allow Eisele to access the PC and let you continue with the story.
