LEGO has officially revealed the much-anticipated Minas Tirith set from The Lord of the Rings, and it’s quite a pricey item for collectors. LEGO and The Lord of the Rings have teamed up for several projects, but this is by far their largest and most ambitious set yet.
For months, people have been speculating about a LEGO version of Minas Tirith. After leaks surfaced last year, LEGO has finally confirmed the set is really happening! Fans have been eagerly awaiting this news, and it looks like the wait to build Minas Tirith won’t be long. However, Lord of the Rings enthusiasts hoping to own this Tolkien-inspired set should probably start saving up, as it might be pricey.
LEGO’s Lord of the Rings Minas Tirith Set Is Going to Cost a Pretty Penny
The new LEGO Minas Tirith set will cost $650, making it one of the priciest LEGO releases this year. It goes on sale June 4th, so fans can get their hands on it very soon. While it has 8,278 pieces, making it a substantial build, it’s not quite the largest LEGO set ever โ but it’s among the biggest, especially for fans of Lord of the Rings.
