The BNB Chain is poised to embrace EIP-7702 smart contract wallets, play nicely with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and offer developers the flexibility of a tango dancer.

Mark your calendars for March 20, when this ditty comes to the mainnet.Validators, node operators, and crypto exchanges must prudently update to v1.5.7 before Mar 20, 02:10 AM UTC, lest they find their nodes out of step after the clock strikes twelve.

This EIP-7702 upgrade promises to enable wallets to temporarily don the cloak of smart contracts, offering users a veritable feast of opportunities: “Gasless transactions via payments. Batch approvals & swaps in one click. Easier onboarding for users new to Web3.” Simply divine!
