PlayStation has announced the first three free games for PS Plus members in June 2026, giving fans a preview of what’s coming on June 2nd. This announcement coincides with the start of PlayStation’s Days of Play sale, which includes discounts and other summer promotions.
Okay, so for anyone who doesn’t know, Sony usually lets us know what games are coming to PS Plus around the last Wednesday of the month. Since the new games drop on June 2nd, we were expecting the announcement on May 27th. Thankfully, they finally revealed the three games we’re getting with PS Plus Essential – it’s good to finally know what we’ll be playing!
PS Plus Free Games for June 2026
- Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition (PS5/PS4)
- Nickelodeon: All-Star Brawl 2 (PS5/PS4)
- Warhammer 40K: Darktide (PS5)
June 2026’s PlayStation Plus free games are a great selection, including Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon: All-Star Brawl 2, and Warhammer 40K: Darktide. Subscribers can enjoy a well-known open-world survival game (Grounded), a platform fighter similar to Super Smash Bros (Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2), and a cooperative shooting experience (Warhammer 40K: Darktide). In Grounded, players become kids shrunk down to ant-size, exploring a perilous backyard. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 features beloved characters from Nickelodeon shows and improved fighting mechanics. Warhammer 40K: Darktide is a challenging co-op shooter where players fight to take back the city of Tertium.
As a huge PlayStation Plus fan, I was so excited to hear that Destiny 2: Legacy Edition – including the new The Final Shape expansion – is going to be the first free game added to the Extra tier in June 2026! It’s awesome news for anyone who loves a good sci-fi shooter.

These PlayStation Plus games will be available starting June 2nd. Until then, you can still get the free PS Plus games for May, which include the action game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and the adventure game Nine Sols. EA Sports FC 26 will be available for even longer – PS Plus Essential members can play it until June 16th and enjoy the new World’s Game update launching on June 4th. This month is a standout for PS Plus Essential. Usually, the games offered with the basic PS Plus subscription are just decent, while the Extra and Premium tiers provide more value. But this month’s lineup is exceptional: Grounded is a truly great open-world survival game, All-Star Brawl 2 is a fun bonus, and Warhammer 40K: Darktide is a strong addition to a popular series.
