Players will initially explore the hotel in 007 First Light, but simply pretending won’t work – the guard needs to see a press badge. While there are several ways to enter, obtaining a press badge is one of the simplest, as it avoids any climbing. You’ll need to use your spy skills to get one, and successfully using it to enter the hotel’s chess tournament will also complete the ‘Press Only’ challenge in 007 First Light.

How to Get a Press Badge in 007 First Light (Press Only Challenge)

In the “All the Time in the World” chapter, James follows a bellhop but is stopped by a guard who asks to see a press badge. James doesn’t have one yet, so players will need to use stealth and trickery to obtain it and gain access to the hotel.

In 007 First Light, to get the press badge, start by finding the woman in the courtyard who is on the phone. Listen to her conversation, and you’ll learn she’s hidden the badge under one of the large pots on the lower ramparts.

After your conversation, find the stairs to the left of the woman. Go down those stairs to the lower level, then continue towards the south.

Go to one of the pots highlighted in the picture to find a press badge hidden inside.

Go back to the security guard at the entrance and show them your press badge in 007 First Light. Once they confirm your badge is valid, you’ll be allowed into the hotel. Entering the hotel for the chess tournament will also finish the “Press Only” challenge in 007 First Light.
