How to Change Outfits in 007 First Light

James Bond is famous for many things, but his style is arguably his most recognizable trait. The game 007 First Light understands this, offering players a wide range of over 39 different outfits to choose from. But unlike simply changing clothes, selecting an outfit in 007 First Light is more than just a cosmetic choice for each mission.

Outfits and suits are connected to TacSims, a different game mode you access from the main menu. Because of this, you won’t be able to change James Bond’s clothes with special tuxedos or outfits during the main story – except when you’re using a disguise you find during a mission.

You can only customize your character’s appearance with different outfits while playing Tactical Simulations – you won’t be able to change outfits during the Story Mode.

When you get back to the Main Menu, choose “Tactical Simulations”. After a quick tutorial with Selina explaining how they work, you can go downstairs and turn right to find your wardrobe.

You can select your character’s outfit in the wardrobe, and there are over 39 to choose from. However, you’ll need to unlock many of these outfits by completing missions, buying intel, or with downloadable content, so you won’t have access to all of them right away.

If I want to change my character’s look, I can go to the “Customization” menu. From there, I can pick out different outfits. But honestly, since all the outfits are only available in TacSim mode, I usually just go straight there anyway – it saves a bit of time!

We’re working on a guide to show you all the outfits in 007 First Light and how to get them. Keep an eye out for it!
