In “All the Time in the World,” James Bond is puzzled when the blonde man suddenly vanishes from the dining room. Fortunately, players can discover a hidden passage behind the fireplace to continue the search.

You might not know the fireplace code (it’s lion, goat, snake), but don’t worry! This guide will help you, especially if you’re trying to complete the Chimera challenge.

How to Investigate the Dining Room & Solve the Puzzle (Chimera Challenge) in 007 First Light

Once you follow the blond man into the dining room, you’ll need to look around. However, you only need to focus on the paper on the cart and the dial above the fireplace. Even if you examine both of these, the game will still prompt you to ‘investigate the dining room’.

Go to the fireplace and turn the dial with the animal symbols. You need to select the lion, goat, and snake—it doesn’t matter in what order. Once you’ve chosen all three, a hidden wall will open near the fireplace, allowing you to continue your mission.

If you touch the lion, goat, and snake, and haven’t touched any other symbols first, you’ll trigger the Chimera challenge!
