How to Get 4/4 Gadget Slots in 007 First Light

From the beginning of 007 First Light, you’ll notice you have access to three out of four gadget slots. Even with one slot missing, you can still complete all the game’s challenges – it’s even possible using only the standard watch, which you can’t remove. But, of course, having more gadgets is always a plus!

Okay, so I was super excited to find out you can unlock a fourth gadget slot in 007 First Light! It takes a while to get it naturally just by playing the story, but I’m going to share how to do it so you can carry even more of Q Branch’s awesome gadgets on your missions.

This guide won’t reveal any plot details, so you can read it without worrying about spoilers!

How to Unlock the 4th Gadget Slot in 007 First Light

  • The 4th Gadget Slot unlocks towards the end of Mission 7: Knightfall.

Getting the fourth Gadget Slot requires patience. It’s unlocked simply by progressing through the main story missions – you’ll need to play all the way to Knightfall, and even then, you’ll have to get pretty far into that mission to finally unlock it. It’s not hidden in a secret quest or tied to any upgrades.

You’ll find this upgrade naturally as you play the mission – we don’t want to spoil the surprise! Once you get the fourth Gadget Slot, you’ll be able to equip up to four Gadgets at a time when choosing your loadout. Keep in mind that the Q-Watch is always equipped and can’t be removed.
