How to Get the $100,000 Auction Fee in 007 First Light

Fighting Pit ($60,000)

Begin by going down the stairs and continue straight ahead, heading east. You’ll see a yellow container and a shark skull hanging above you. Turn right, and you can go upstairs to reach the Fighting Pit.

First, listen in near the blue barrel. This will let you speak with the man by the Fighting Pit, who will then direct you to the trainer near the bar. Finally, you’ll need to win a fight to earn your place in the Fighting Pit.

The Fighting Pit challenges you to survive three rounds of combat, with a particularly difficult second round where you’ll face two enemies simultaneously. If you win against all four opponents, you can leave and collect your $60,000 reward from the trainer.

Cup Game ($30,000)

Now that you’ve earned $60,000, it’s time to exit the Fighting Pit – but be prepared for a few more battles along the way. Once you’re out, turn left to find a small market area with a shoe vendor.

Okay, so I was checking things out and found a guy doing that cup game just to the right of the shoe stand. You can play for $3,500! When it starts, you need to press L1 or LB to use the Q-Lens – it’ll show you which cup the jewel is under. Then, when he asks which cup you pick, just choose the one that’s highlighted! It seems pretty straightforward, hopefully I can win!

Now that you have the jewel, return to the beginning of the market and locate the pawn shop. You can trade the jewel there for $30,000.

Shooting Range ($30,000)

With almost $90,000 saved, you’re nearly finished! Just go back to the area with the yellow container – the Fighting Pit – and walk straight ahead until you see the Shooting Range on the back left.

Okay, so at the Shooting Range, it costs $3,000 to give it a try. You basically use your pistol to shoot 10 targets, but don’t worry, they pop up one at a time, making it pretty manageable. The trick is the last two – they show up together! You’ll definitely want to use your Focus ability (that’s L3 on the controller) to hit both of them. It’s a little tough, but totally doable with Focus!

After eliminating 10 targets, you’ll receive $30,000, covering the required auction fee. You can then go back upstairs, pay the guard, and proceed with the mission.

You’ll need $140,000 to complete the “Show Me the Money” Challenge, even though the auction fee is only $100,000. This guide will show you how to earn that amount!
