A popular leaker from China claims that Persona 6 is currently planned to release in September 2027. They also shared images reportedly showing the game’s protagonist, who appears to have blonde hair – a distinctive trait from a previous Persona title.
Alleged Persona 6 Protagonist Concept Art Sighted on Chinese Social Media Site
In late May 2026, a known leaker named Lolilolailo posted six images on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu (also called RedNote). These images reportedly came from a studio helping to develop Persona 6. Four of the images depict a blonde male character who is believed to be the main character of the upcoming RPG. Two of the images also show a dark-haired female character – one is a sketch sheet labeled with what a translation suggests is “facial expressions” and the name “Kugabe Neiko / Yasuko.” This label might be the character’s name, and the images generally seem to confirm recent speculation that Persona 6 could have two main characters.
Persona 6 Reportedly Coming in September 2027
Lolilolailo claims that Persona 6 is currently aiming for a September 2027 release, but didn’t provide any further details to support this. They also shared a couple of interesting pieces of evidence: a sketch of a subway car marked “P6” and a screenshot of a computer showing files that seem to be character art for the new JRPG. These files appear to be similar to other artwork recently shared by Lolilolailo.
