In Mina the Hollower, you can find a Joule Box upgrade at the back of Pinky’s Parlor. To get to it, you’ll first need to take the ladder from the front of the shop. This upgrade increases how many Joules Mina can use with her Sidearms, making it a worthwhile addition to your character.
How to Get the Item in the Back of Pinky’s Parlor in Mina the Hollower
To get the item hidden in the back of Pinky’s Parlor in Mina the Hollower, you need to move the ladder from the front of the shop away from Pinky.
First, speak to Pinky at the entrance to the Parlor and purchase either the leftmost or rightmost item on the shelf. This will cause him to move the ladder so he can reach something for Mina. After receiving the item, the ladder will stay where Pinky moved it. Then, go outside to the Shanty Swamp and enter the shop from the back. To get there, move one screen to the right, then one screen up, and finally one screen to the left.
Inside the shop, use Mina’s ability to dig under the ladder so she can lift it. (It took us a bit to figure out you need to pick it up that way!) Then, place the ladder against the upper platform at the back, and you’ll be able to easily reach the Joule Box upgrade in the corner.
