10. Lugia

I’ve noticed in a few of the stronger Pokémon films that Giratina is surprisingly powerful, even compared to other Legendary Pokémon. It actually managed to hold its own against Dialga and Palkia – the other two Pokémon in the Creation Trio – at least for a little while. What really sets Giratina apart is its ability to open portals to this place called the Distortion World. It can use these portals to either escape a tough situation or trap its opponents, giving it a real edge in battle.

I’ve always noticed how powerful dragons are in anime, and Rayquaza from Pokémon definitely fits that trend. Ash has encountered many Legendary Pokémon throughout his journey, but he usually chooses not to catch them. However, a few have played crucial roles in the anime’s storyline.
