The official description and features read:
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 lets up to four players team up as Colonial Marines, battling for survival in the dangerous world of the Aliens franchise. Forget rescue missions – you’ll be fighting to stay alive against relentless Xenomorphs that hunt you in the shadows and attack in huge numbers. Every room presents a deadly threat. Success depends on teamwork, using each player’s special skills, and quickly adapting to ever-increasing danger. Featuring improved squad mechanics, more intelligent enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 offers the ultimate co-op Aliens experience.
4-Player Co-Op Squad Combat
AFE2 now supports teams of up to four players and features more complex teamwork. Success depends on coordinating with your teammates and building a squad with a good mix of classes. Each class has been updated and offers unique ways to play, so every team feels different.
Xenomorphs That Overwhelm You
The terrifying xenomorphs are now even more dangerous. AFE2 introduces a huge range of new xenomorph types that will keep players constantly on the move, forcing them to be aware of their surroundings and utilize all available weapons and tools. Whether it’s using stun batons in close-quarters combat during emergencies, or weakening the relentless xenomorph horde with specialized ammo like fire and electricity, the fight can quickly change from a tense standoff to a desperate struggle for survival.
The Specialist Class – Play Your Way
In addition to more options for customizing weapons and gear, AFE2 features the new Specialist class. This class lets you create a unique character by combining abilities from all other classes, letting you perfectly match your preferred playstyle and fill any role your team requires.
Horde Mode – Survive the Swarm
AFE2 introduces several new Horde maps designed to challenge even the most skilled squads. Players will fight through increasingly difficult waves of xenomorphs and other dangerous enemies, earning better rewards the further they progress. Success depends on strong teamwork and player skill.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, but we don’t have a specific release date yet. You can check out the trailer below!
