If you’re trying to catch all the Pokemon in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen, the Safari Zone is a fantastic place to start! It has a wide variety of Pokemon, making it a valuable stop for completing your Pokedex. However, with four distinct areas and some Pokemon only appearing in one version of the game, you might want a helpful guide. Below, I’ve listed all the Pokemon you can find in each area of the Safari Zone, and specified which version – FireRed or LeafGreen – they appear in.
All Safari Zone Pokemon in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen
Here’s a breakdown of the Pokémon available in each of the Safari Zone’s four areas. We’ve included a ‘Versions’ column to show any Pokémon that are exclusive to specific game versions, whether only in the Safari Zone or throughout the entire game.
You can usually find the same Pokémon in all four areas, but they tend to be stronger in areas with higher numbers. For instance, a Psyduck caught in Zone 3 (the West Area) will probably be at a higher level than one caught in the Center Area.
