All Stacking Yard Puzzle Button Locations in ARC Raiders

I’ve noticed a lot of players in ARC Raiders are really struggling with the Stacking Yard Puzzle, and some are going to crazy lengths to solve it when it’s actually pretty straightforward! I’ve put together a guide to help everyone out. It covers everything you need to know about finding the loot rooms, getting inside, where to find all the buttons to start the puzzle, and most importantly, how to find the Fuel Cell and get it to the right place using the lift. Hopefully, this will save you a lot of frustration!

How to Solve the Stacking Yard Puzzle in ARC Raiders

In ARC Raiders, the Stacking Yard Puzzle asks players to press four red buttons – you’ll find similar ones near the Raiders Refuge Cellar. Once all four are activated, you need to find a Fuel Cell and carry it to the top of the control tower to access the loot room. Getting there requires fixing and using a lift, and you’ll need help from another player to operate it.

The Fuel Cell can appear in the following locations:

On top of the piled containers on the rails
On the catwalk of the crane control room, opposed to the loot room
On the bushes next to the crane
On the sand, next to the red containers below the loot room
Above the blue container near the lift
On the right side of the rails (camouflaged with the sand)

After you find the Fuel Cell, head to the Lift. It’s located under the damaged walkway leading to the loot room in the Crane Control Tower. Place the Fuel Cell on the Lift, then check the broken panel to see what it needs to be fixed. It will likely require batteries, wires, or another easily found item – the specific item and amount needed change with each game. Once you’ve gathered the necessary materials, repair the panel to power up the Lift.

To get the Fuel Cell and a teammate to the top, one player needs to keep holding a button. Letting go will cause the lift to drop, and they’ll have to start again. Once at the top, they need to carry the Fuel Cell to a box inside the control tower, which unlocks the room with the loot.

To complete this section alone, throw a Triggernade next to the fuel cell. Hold the throw button until the arc reaches its highest point, then quickly release and immediately press the lift button. This should cause the explosion to push the fuel cell off the platform. It may take a few attempts to get it right.

Players can reach another loot room by repairing and using the second lift. This room contains a red container with potential rewards like weapon cases, grenades, and ammo. It’s also the best place to find the valuable “Leviathan’s Crown” ship model, which is key to earning high scores in the Last Resort event.

To open the loot room, players must activate four buttons. Here’s where to find them:

Inside the Control Buildings, next to the door or over the floor.
Next to the Rails, below each Control Building.
The catwalks around each Control Building.
The railings on the top of the Control Building.
On the Crane Ladders.
On the railings below the catwalks. Some can be accessed from above, others by jumping on the containers at the side of the buildings. Some might require using a Snap Hook or the Zipline-jump trick.
In the exterior wall of the building, on ground level, look for the corners next to the container room access.
At the end of the railings, in the corner of the concrete wall that leads outside every crane building.

Keep in mind that each attempt has four buttons, and their positions change every time. When players activate all four buttons and put the Fuel Cell in the fuse box, the Loot Room will unlock.
