Embark Studios has given players a first look at the new map coming to ARC Raiders later this month with the Riven Tides update. The reveal came in an email to players, featuring images and a preview of the map’s arrival in just a couple of weeks.
Following a strong launch in late 2025, Embark Studios began 2026 by sharing its plans for ARC Raiders. The first big update, Headwinds, came out in late January and introduced a new, sometimes debated, 1v3 matchmaking mode, plus changes to the Buried City map. In February, the Shrouded Sky update added even more to the game, including a new Hurricane map condition, a new area on the Dam Battlegrounds, and new ARC enemies. Most recently, a few weeks ago, the Flashpoint update brought another challenging map condition, a new ARC enemy, and improvements to the Scrappy features.
Embark Teases New ARC Raiders Map
Three out of the four planned content updates are already here, and the last one is coming in just a couple of weeks. While Embark hasn’t officially announced the release date for Riven Tides, many believe it will launch on Tuesday, April 28th, based on the timing of past updates. It looks like the first hints for the update have arrived: players are now receiving emails from Embark with the first two images from the new ARC Raiders map, which you can see above.
At first, players thought the next game map would be centered around a volcano. However, recent clues and hints within the game now point towards a coastal setting. While the first teaser doesn’t reveal the exact location, it does show what looks like a hotel called Panorama Azurro. Concept art of a coastline map – likely the one coming in the Riven Tides update – reveals a beautiful new area for players to explore, featuring cliffs, flooded zones, and other interesting features.
The April update for ARC Raiders will include a new, large enemy similar to the Queen and Matriarch. Players recently spotted huge, unidentified flying objects in the game after the Shrouded Sky update, and many think these UFOs might be the new enemy coming in Riven Tides. While this isn’t confirmed, Embark will likely share more details as the update’s release date approaches.

For players who want to start over, the third Expedition in ARC Raiders will also launch on April 28th. You can begin gathering materials now to build your Caravan, preparing to leave the Rust Belt later this month for a fresh start with extra rewards. The rewards system was updated after the second Expedition, and more changes are expected for this month’s optional reset, though the specifics haven’t been announced yet.
