Last Epoch started with a successful Kickstarter campaign, raising over $250,000. Since its release in February 2024, the game has gained a solid following. The launch of Season 3 in August, featuring class updates and a new playable character called the Primalist, boosted the game to over 80,000 concurrent players on Steam. While a great achievement, this is still below its record peak of almost 265,000 players.
Pearl Abyss first showed off Crimson Desert at The Game Awards in 2020, giving gamers a look at its exciting gameplay. The game is set in the expansive world of Pywel and tells the story of Kliff, who’s trying to bring his old crew back together to save Pywel from a dangerous threat. Players can expect a lot to do, including completing missions, quests, and solving puzzles. Crimson Desert has been in development for a while – it was even delayed in August 2025 – but the developers recently shared some positive updates about its progress.
I’m so hyped for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds! Some people are already playing it with early access, but the full game comes out on September 25th, and I can’t wait! We were already excited about the new stuff like CrossWorlds and being able to customize Gadgets, but this latest DLC announcement is just amazing news for any Sonic fan like me.

The recent PlayStation State of Play presentation mainly showcased upcoming PS5 games. It kicked off with a trailer for *Saros*, a new PS5 exclusive that feels similar to *Returnal*, and concluded with a preview of gameplay for *Wolverine*. Beyond games, Sony also announced some new hardware, including PlayStation wireless speakers and a brand-new controller, both of which will be released soon.

The story of *One Piece* is currently centered around the intense events unfolding in the Elbaf arc. Throughout this arc, creator Eiichiro Oda has revealed significant details about key figures from the past, such as Rocks D. Xebec and Imu. We’re also learning more about Joy Boy, also known as the Sun God Nika, who is revered by the giants of Elbaf. As shown in the Egghead arc, Joy Boy originated from the prosperous Ancient Kingdom, which was ultimately defeated in a war against twenty other kingdoms. Joy Boy perished at the end of that conflict.
Horror game developers usually want players to feel genuinely terrified and immersed in a nightmare. Therefore, it wouldn’t make sense for the main character to be cheerful and carefree throughout a frightening story. While it’s expected that horror protagonists will struggle, some face incredibly difficult circumstances, leading players to wonder how they can possibly survive to the end after everything they endure.
I’m really excited about this game called *Kentum*! If you’re anything like me, you probably love games like *Terraria* that let you explore and build, but also have some action. *Kentum* seems to take that idea and really run with it. It’s set way in the future, like 10,000 AD, after something has happened to Earth. You play as Kent, who wakes up after being frozen for 7,000 years to find he’s the last human! He starts with basically nothing but a stick and a robot buddy, and the goal is to rebuild humanity. It sounds like you’ll be gathering resources and building a base that reminds me a lot of *Satisfactory*, but with a big focus on using knowledge to survive. It’s coming out soon, and I can’t wait to check it out!
