The action RPG *Last Epoch* is launching on PlayStation 5, along with its first expansion. Both the game and the *Orobyss* expansion will be available on the console at the same time. Previously, *Last Epoch* was only playable on PC, but now PlayStation 5 players can also experience the dungeon-crawling adventure.
Last Epoch started with a successful Kickstarter campaign, raising over $250,000. Since its release in February 2024, the game has gained a solid following. The launch of Season 3 in August, featuring class updates and a new playable character called the Primalist, boosted the game to over 80,000 concurrent players on Steam. While a great achievement, this is still below its record peak of almost 265,000 players.
Last Epoch and Orobyss Expansion Are Coming to PS5
During the September 24 State of Play presentation, it was announced that the game is coming to PS5 and that the Orobyss expansion is being developed for multiple platforms. While a specific release date hasn’t been shared, a presenter confirmed the game is currently in development for PlayStation 5, and the expansion won’t launch on any platform until the PS5 version is ready. The game is a dungeon crawler with a time-travel story where players face incredibly difficult challenges and battle gods. The upcoming expansion promises a challenging adventure, introducing a new god with a strong connection to the Void.
