Compared to previous *Dying Light* games, *Dying Light: The Beast* features a less crowded open world. While the series has always focused on city environments, this new installment includes more open areas for players to explore. This change actually creates a unique and beautiful perspective. When players reach the highest points in the game, they might even momentarily forget they’re in a zombie apocalypse – and that’s what makes *Dying Light: The Beast* feel different from the previous two games.

Microsoft has increased the price of Xbox consoles again this year, marking the second price hike in 2025. They first raised prices in May for the Xbox Series X/S consoles, as well as some special controllers and accessories. Now, the Xbox Series S 512GB will cost $400 instead of $380, and the 1TB version will go up to $450 from $430. The digital version of the Xbox Series X will increase from $550 to $600, while the standard Xbox Series X will be priced at $650, a jump from its previous $600 price. These new prices will be effective in the United States starting October 3rd.

Sucker Punch Productions, known for games like *Sly Cooper* and *Infamous*, really surprised players with *Ghost of Tsushima*. This game offered a vast, open-world experience set in Feudal Japan, reimagining the historical Mongol invasion with a unique story. *Ghost of Tsushima* became incredibly popular, and was later released on PS5 and PC, reaching even more players. Despite a new game in a similar style being planned, *Ghost of Tsushima* is now leading a new initiative from Sony.

The new mechanic is similar to abilities in games like *God of War*, where players temporarily become more powerful by filling a meter. However, in *Dying Light: The Beast*, this ability – called Beast Mode – feels less like a core combat feature and more like a safety net. It provides a quick boost of strength when you really need it, and it thematically fits the game’s story about a character struggling to manage his inner rage.

Fans are still very excited about *Infinity Castle – Part 2*, particularly those who are familiar with the original manga by Koyoharu Gotouge. While it’s unclear exactly how much of the story this second film will include, considering what was covered in *Part 1*, viewers can expect to see some of the most thrilling and iconic moments from the Infinity Castle Arc brought to life on the big screen, and here are a few examples of what they’re looking forward to.

Players are quickly discovering the strongest characters and skill trees in *Borderlands 4*. Vex and Rafa are popular choices, with Vex benefiting from the Bloodletter skill and Rafa from the Peacerkeeper cannons. One player even created a Rafa build so effective they can defeat enemies without firing a weapon! While these powerful builds are enjoyable, Gearbox has announced they’ll be addressing them in upcoming updates.
