I recently got a sneak peek at *Arkheron*, and it looks amazing! It’s a really fast-paced team brawler where you play with a group of three, and a total of 15 teams are all trying to climb to the top of this huge tower. What’s really cool is the tower isn’t just *any* tower – it’s actually made up of the memories of the characters, who they call echoes. These echoes are basically ghosts stuck because they have things they need to resolve. Because of how the tower is built from memories, it’s constantly changing and each layer looks totally different – so the environments are super varied and wild!

I’m really excited for *Baby Steps* to come out – it’s almost here! From what I’ve seen, it’s totally designed for people who love watching and streaming games. It looks like it’s going to be one of those ‘rage games’ – you know, the kind with tricky movement and weird physics that streamers and speedrunners go crazy for. I recently read an interview with the developers – Gabe Cuzzillo, Maxi Boch, and Bennett Foddy – over at Game Rant, and they talked about the game and how the whole thing started as a really strange prototype.

Kairos is easily a highlight of *Borderlands 4* for me. I’ve always been okay with big game maps being revealed early, so I was already looking forward to it. But even still, I didn’t expect to enjoy it *this* much. It’s actually brought back a way of playing that I thought I’d lost interest in years ago.

The final months of 2025 are shaping up to be exciting for PlayStation 5 owners. September will feature several major releases, including *Dying Light: The Beast*, *Silent Hill f*, *Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds*, and *EA Sports FC 26*. October is equally packed, with *Ghost of Yotei* launching on October 2nd, followed shortly by *Battlefield 6*. *Call of Duty: Black Ops 7* is set to arrive in mid-November, and during the holiday season in December, players can look forward to *Octopath Traveler 0*, *Code Violet*, and *Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection*.

The *Like a Dragon* series, originally known as *Yakuza*, started in 2005 and has grown with many sequels and related games. *Yakuza 3*, released in 2009, was initially only available on the PlayStation 3. While the first two *Yakuza* games were completely rebuilt with *Yakuza Kiwami 1* and *2*, *Yakuza 3* received a less extensive update, simply being remastered for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

Most heroes in *My Hero Academia* have colorful designs meant to inspire, but the villains are quite different. It wouldn’t fit for criminals to wear bright costumes, especially considering their often dark and twisted perspectives. Tomura Shigaraki, the series’ main villain, is a perfect example of this design philosophy.

Sucker Punch Productions’ *Ghost of Tsushima* was a major hit for the studio, becoming one of the best-selling games in the US in 2020 and the company’s best-selling title in its 27-year history. Given the game’s popularity, a sequel was widely expected, and fans are now excited for *Ghost of Yotei*, which will be released exclusively on PlayStation 5 on October 2nd.

PC gamers can regularly find free games on both the Epic Games Store and Steam. Every Thursday at 10:00am Central Time, the Epic Games Store offers new free games. Steam’s free offerings are less predictable, but they do have games available to claim each month. Right now, there are a total of four free games available – three from the Epic Games Store and one from Steam.

Mirak Valley and the Hainan Resort map from *Battlefield 4* seem quite different at first glance. Hainan Resort was a lush, tropical setting with lots of boats, while Mirak Valley is a more countryside environment specifically created for tank battles. However, they both offer similar gameplay experiences. Both maps are best suited for large-scale team modes like the classic *Battlefield* Conquest, but also include areas for smaller, more focused modes like Squad Deathmatch.
