Just over a week after the release of the 7.5 update, ‘Trail to the Heavens,’ for Final Fantasy 14, Square Enix released a new set of fixes. This 7.5 patch is the first of four major updates planned for spring and summer of 2026. It added new story content and a raid, and also set the stage for upcoming battle features in the Evercold expansion. Final Fantasy 14: Evercold is scheduled to launch in January 2027, and more details will be revealed at the FanFest events in Berlin and Tokyo later this year.

Following over a month of speculation, Nintendo has officially confirmed that a new Star Fox game is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25th.
