In Neverness to Everness, each character has unique preferences, and giving them gifts they love is key to raising your Bond level. Luckily, there are also several items that all characters enjoy, so you don’t always need to hunt for specific favorites. Here’s a list of some of the best gifts you can find or purchase in the game.
Best Items to Gift in Neverness To Everness
Just a quick note before we start: you can find a list of each character’s preferred gifts on their individual Gift pages within the Bond menu. While gold and purple items might catch your eye, it’s best to look at the blue and green options first. These are usually more affordable, but still give you the same amount of Bond/Affection Points as the pricier gifts. Here are the best and most budget-friendly gifts for each NTE character:
| Character | Item (Cost in Fons) | Where to Buy |
|---|---|---|
| Mint | Waltz (3000) | Florist |
| Skia | Chill Out (4000) | Bookstore |
| Adler | Golden Dawn (3600) | Florist |
| Daffodil | Promise (10000) | Gift Shop |
| Nanally | Blazing Crimson (5400) | Florist |
| Sakiri | Fever Dream (5000) | Gift Shop |
| Edgar | Boss’ Approval (4000) | Bookstore |
| Jiuyuan | Moon Vase (3000) | Florist |
| Haniel | Fantasia (3000) | Florist |
| Auriel | Fantasia (3000) | Florist |
| Fadia | Glimmering Ice (5400) | Florist |
| Hathor | Fever Dream (5000) | Gift Shop |
| Chiz | Fantasia (3000) | Florist |
| Baicang | Refulgent Agreement (4500) | Florist |
Getting a character’s Bond to its maximum level will likely cost between 800,000 and 1.5 million Fons, so it’s important to save up. You can give gifts daily, but there’s a limit, meaning you’ll spend around 54,000 Fons per day at most. If you consistently give the gifts they prefer, it will take roughly a month and a half to max out a Bond.
Universal Gift Items
Okay, so I’m kinda tired of farming for specific gifts for every single character. And honestly, I’m always on the lookout for good stuff to give people, so I figured I’d share some ideas that might be useful for other players too.
- A Handwritten Letter: Every character in the game accepts Handwritten Letters. These will increase your Bond with someone by a whopping 2000 points. The catch here is that these items can only be obtained through Warp Exchange or Circle Bounty (battle pass).
- Fluffy Cotton: This is another universally-accepted gift item that increases Bond levels by 400 points. Unlike Handwritten Letters, Fluffy Cotton balls can be obtained for free by interacting with the Compressed Boom Boom Cloud Anomaly inside your home at Wiener Apartments, Eden Apartments, and Fenglin Villa.
- Ebisu Royal Tower: Once you reach the Ebisu Auction during the main story where you’re asked to find Illica, Haniel, and Hathor, a drunken Hotori will tell you to grab all the food in the venue’s tables. Do as the boss says, and you’ll go home with about 40 Ebisu Royal Tower platters. Each of these gives 100 Bond Points; it’s not much, and not everyone accepts them, but they’re free, and you might as well give them away.
Currently, you can give gifts to characters a maximum of three times daily, for a total of ten gifts per day spread across four different characters.
