After unlocking your third Hero Slot, a team made up of a Knight, Ranger, and Priest is a very safe and dependable choice for completing levels and advancing in the game. The Knight protects the team, the Ranger deals quick and steady damage, and the Priest provides healing and support. While other teams might clear levels faster, this balanced group is reliable and doesn’t require any purchased content to build.

After unlocking both extra Hero Slots in TBH: Task Bar Hero, a great team to use is a Knight, Ranger, and Priest. While there might be faster options for quickly collecting resources, this combination offers a good balance of toughness, attack power, and healing.

This combination of Knight, Ranger, and Priest is excellent for making money, getting new equipment, and progressing to more challenging levels. Plus, you don’t need to buy any extra content to use it.

Priest is a free character you can download, but you need to add her to your account through Steam first. To do this, go to the Formation menu, choose Priest from the character list, and click the button that appears under her picture.

Best Hero To Pick First

Ranger, Knight, and Priest are all good choices when you’re starting the game, but Ranger and Knight are generally the strongest options. If you prefer quickly completing levels and earning resources early on, Ranger is likely the better pick. Knight is a solid choice if you want a dependable hero to lead the charge from the very beginning.

The Priest class isn’t quite as strong on its own as the Ranger or Knight, but getting better equipment helps close that gap. Once you unlock a second Hero slot, the Priest really shines, becoming a powerful support character alongside another Hero.

If you chose the Sorcerer, that’s okay – they can still deal a lot of damage. You’re not stuck with your starting Hero! You can unlock others in the Formation menu and switch them into your team if you’d prefer. The main goal is to create a team that can deal strong damage, stay alive, and has a solid defense, and there are many different ways to achieve that.

Best Two-Hero Party Setup

The ideal two-Hero combination depends on the gear you’ve collected. If you found powerful gear for the Priest while earning gold for the first Hero Slot upgrade, pairing the Ranger with the Priest is likely your best bet. However, if you mostly found Knight gear, then Ranger and Knight might be a stronger team.

Once you’ve equipped your first Hero with gear and unlocked a second slot, the most effective starting pairings are Ranger and Priest, or Knight and Ranger. Ranger and Priest work well together because the Ranger deals a lot of damage, and the Priest keeps everyone healthy. Knight and Ranger is a good choice if you prefer a classic team with a strong defender and a damage dealer.

If you’re having trouble staying alive, a Knight and Priest combination can help, though it might take a bit longer to clear areas compared to a group focused on Rangers. If your group is surviving well but isn’t farming quickly enough, focus on adding more Rangers. If you’re dying too often, prioritize adding a Knight or Priest to your team.

Best Farming Party Setup

While Knight, Ranger, and Priest can be effective, they might not be the quickest team for gathering resources. If you’re looking to speed through easier levels, consider a Ranger, Priest, and Sorcerer team instead. If your Priest is durable enough, position her near the front of the group.

Okay, so as a player, I’ve found that if my team is having trouble staying alive or getting through tougher parts, switching Sorcerer for Knight makes a huge difference. Basically, I use Knight when I need things to be solid and reliable, and then I switch back to Sorcerer when I’m already doing well and want to really boost my damage output. It’s a pretty easy way to think about it!

If your team is struggling, either include a Knight to strengthen your defenses or upgrade your existing frontline. If your team is doing well but battles are taking a long time, focus on increasing your overall damage output.

Are Paid DLC Heroes Worth It?

While Hunter and Slayer can be helpful, you don’t need them to create a strong early-game team. Knight, Ranger, and Priest are more than capable of progressing through the game, efficiently farming resources, and filling your second and third Hero slots effectively.

If you purchase the DLC Heroes, consider teaming up Slayer with Priest. Priest’s healing ability can keep your main damage dealer alive. Hunter can also be useful in damage-heavy groups, but you might find they’re not needed if you’re already comfortable with Ranger and Sorcerer.

How To Change Your Party Formation
