The newest sticker album in Monopoly GO, called Monopoly Ever After, runs from April 8th, 2024, to June 3rd, 2026. It’s a completely fairytale-themed season with fresh gameplay features, improved events, and bigger rewards compared to previous seasons. This season also changes how some game features work, like Shutdowns and Bank Heists.

Curious about Fairytale Heists and Fairytale Shut Downs in Monopoly GO? This guide explains everything simply, helping you understand the new features, boost your gameplay, and get the most out of every roll, heist, and seasonal event.

Monopoly GO Fairytale Heist & Fairytale Shut Down, Explained

Monopoly Ever After has a major update to its Shutdowns and Bank Heists. These actions are no longer simple – they’ve become more involved mini-games with bigger rewards and risks.

Fairytale Shut Downs now include a little bonus! If you hit an opponent’s landmark without hitting their shield, you’ll earn piggies. You’ll randomly receive one, two, or three piggies, and each piggy contains a reward that gets bigger the higher your multiplier is.

Okay, so here’s the deal: hitting an enemy’s shield means no loot for you, so getting your timing and aim right is super important. What I’ve been doing is chilling at my friends’ landmarks and just scoping out who isn’t shielded. Trust me, knowing that before you launch the Fairytale Shut Down makes a huge difference – it’s a game changer!

Fairytale Heists now feature the new Magic Mirror system. Instead of getting a set reward after each heist, you’ll now discover hidden Magic Gems by opening doors. The number of gems you find directly impacts how much you earn – the more gems, the bigger the payout!

How Fairytale Shut Down Rewards Work in Monopoly GO?

In Fairytale Shut Down, the more your roll multiplier increases, the better the rewards you’ll get, so building up that multiplier before attacking is a great strategy. Every piggy bank you open will give you one of three types of rewards, and the amount of each reward is boosted by your current multiplier.

There are three types of rewards you can find:

  • Rolls
  • Tournament Points
  • Banner Event Points

The number of dice rolls you win depends on your multiplier – the higher the multiplier, the more rolls you’ll receive! You’ll earn even more from tournament and banner points, as these are boosted by double your multiplier, letting you quickly gain ground on leaderboards during events.

Fairytale Shutdowns are even more thrilling because the number of piggies you get is random. Getting three piggies instead of just one can significantly boost your rewards from each attack.

How Fairytale Heist Rewards Work

Okay, so the Magic Mirror is the main thing in Fairytale Heist – it’s where you get the best stuff this season. It works a bit like Fairytale Shutdowns, because you can snag three different kinds of basic rewards from completing Heists.

  • Rolls
  • Tournament Points
  • Banner Event Points

The more gems you discover during a heist, the bigger your reward will be. One gem doubles your base payout, two gems increase it fivefold, and three gems multiply it by ten. This means even finding just one gem can significantly boost your earnings, and it’s even better when combined with other multipliers.

The game is fun because gems are hidden randomly under each tile. You can’t always predict where they’ll be, making every attempt to steal them feel fresh and thrilling.

It’s also important to remember that these events aren’t guaranteed to happen every time you land on a railroad space – they occur randomly.

Best Monopoly GO Fairytale Heist & Fairytale Shut Down Strategy

To succeed in Monopoly Ever After’s Fairytale Heist and Fairytale Shut Down minigames, a good strategy is key. Because the rewards in both games depend heavily on your multiplier, it’s best to hold onto your rolls and increase your multiplier – aiming for x50, x100, x200, or higher – whenever you’re near a Railroads tile.

When playing Fairytale Shut Down, prioritize attacking players who probably don’t have their shields up. This will help you earn more piggy rewards instead of missing out. In Fairytale Heist, remember that luck is a factor, but you can still make strategic choices when selecting tiles.

To win a really big prize, try to play during both the Mega Heist and Fairytale Heist events at the same time. Mega Heist happens almost every day, so it shouldn’t be a long wait. Keep an eye on the event schedule and only play when both are running to get the biggest possible reward.

Monopoly Ever After is a really fun and engaging update for Monopoly GO, and arguably one of the best so far. If you learn the new features and play smart, you’ll make great progress this season and really get into the fairytale theme.

Monopoly GO Ever After Chance Card, Explained

The Monopoly Ever After season introduces the Ever After Chance Card. When you draw this card, you’ll immediately either face a Fairytale Shut Down or trigger a Fairytale Heist. This gives you more chances to use the season’s new features, even if you’re not on a specific space on the Monopoly GO board.

If you know a Chance tile is near, it’s best to increase your dice multiplier as much as possible. Getting a Fairytale Heist or Fairytale Shutdown with a higher multiplier will significantly boost your rewards.

The Ever After Chance Card now lets you skip waiting to land on Railroad tiles and go straight to the Fairytale minigames, making the game much faster and more exciting.

Just a heads-up, Scopely likes to mess with things as we play, so these game mechanics might not stay exactly as they are. Expect some details and rewards to probably change as the season goes on – that’s just how it usually works!
