Der Eisendrache is considered one of the best maps in Call of Duty Zombies, making it highly replayable. However, many players find unlocking the Fire Bow frustrating due to its lengthy and repetitive requirements.
After over eleven years, we’ve created a new guide to help you quickly and easily get the Fire Bow in the Der Eisendrache map. This will save you time and give you a powerful weapon for completing the Easter egg and reaching high rounds.
To get the Fire Bow, you first need to obtain the Wrath of the Ancients Bow. We’ve created a guide to help you through the process – you can find it in the link below.
Step #1: Obtain the Broken Fire Arrow
Okay, so first things first, you need to get to the Upper Courtyard. Once you’re there, look for the stairs leading up to the Clock Tower. Head up those winding spiral stairs, and when you reach the top, you’ll spot a brick wall with this really noticeable red symbol on it – that’s what you’re looking for!
Shoot the wall with a charged shot (by holding down the aim button) to destroy it and uncover the Broken Arrow. Collecting the Broken Arrow will start the Flame Bow quest.
Step #2: Shoot the Glowing Rock in the Rocket Launch Area
Now that you have the Fire Arrow, head to the Rocket Launch area using the teleporter in the Undercroft. Once there, you’ll need to be patient and wait for a rocket test, which happens every 2 to 5 minutes.
Stay inside the bunker. Once the doors open after the rocket test, immediately look to your right and shoot the glowing rock. For the best shot, aim towards the top left corner.
Step #3: Shoot the Three Flaming Circles While in the Air
Three glowing rings have appeared near the Lower Courtyard, Death Ray, and Clock Tower. To complete the challenge, you need to shoot the Bow into these rings, but you can only do so while jumping from the Wundersphere Launch Pad.
- Head to the Lower Courtyard’s Wundersphere, in the room above Double Tap. You will want to fire a quick shot at the flame circle to the right of the Launch Pad before landing.
- Head to the Upper Courtyard’s Wundersphere. You need to fire a charged shot as you go past the Death Ray, into the center in front of the Wundersphere.
- Head to the Rocket Launch area and use the Wundersphere here. Fire the arrow as you begin your descent into spawn.
We’ve included pictures of where to aim, and a video to help you time your shots perfectly – we know getting that right can be tricky!
Step #4: Feed Each Glowing Circle Zombie Souls
Once all three circles are lit with flames, you can stand inside any one of them and defeat zombies. You don’t need to kill the zombies inside the circle, just stand within it yourself. After you’ve killed about 10 zombies, that circle will stop working, and you can move on to the next one, repeating the process with all three.
Step #5: Find Your Correct Fireplace
Head back to the Clock Tower and find the broken wall where you found your arrow. When you interact with it, gears will spin and a glowing symbol will appear. This symbol is unique to you, and it points to a specific fireplace somewhere on the map – you’ll need to find it.
- Templar symbol: Fireplace in Samantha’s Room. (Use the Lower Courtyard flame circle)
- Three arrows: Fireplace in the Lower Courtyard inside the building with Der Wunderfizz. (Use the Clock Tower flame circle).
- Two arrows: Fireplace under the Dragon Head Statue in the Church/Control Room. (Use the Death Ray flame circle)
Step #6: Light Your Fireplace Using the Flaming Circle
After locating your symbol and its corresponding fireplace, you’ll find a flame circle to activate. To reach the fireplace, use your 4-5 charged shots by firing them at the ground, creating a chain reaction to propel you forward.
Okay, so here’s the deal: every time you shoot, a lava rock appears. You have to stand right next to it before you can shoot again. I figured out a cool trick though! You don’t actually have to shoot the ground – you can shoot a wall, and the lava rock will pop up next to it instead. That makes things way easier to keep going!
After shooting the fireplace, a full ammo supply will appear, and the fire will turn red. You can then interact with the fireplace to move on to the next part.
Check out the video above to see the best paths for each of the three fireplaces! Be careful not to use too many shots – if you do, the floor will break apart and you’ll have to start over in the next round.
Step #7: Acquire the Repaired Arrow and Feed the Soul Box
After using the fireplace, return to the Death Ray and activate the miniature sun. It will launch into the air and explode, allowing you to collect the repaired arrow.
Once you have the fixed arrow, go down to the Undercroft and put it in the box decorated with red symbols and lava rocks. Then, you need to defeat at least 20 enemies nearby to power the box with zombie souls. If you do, you’ll receive the Kreeaho’ahm nal Ahmhogaroc, also known as the Fire Bow!
