Epic Games Store Users Have Until June 4 to Claim 2 Free Games

The Epic Games Store is giving away two free games this week: Calico and LoneStar. Normally costing around $25 together, you can claim them on the Epic Games Store until June 4th.

I was so excited when Epic brought back their mystery game giveaways on May 14th! This time around, we got to claim both Sunderfolk and The Telltale Batman: Shadows Edition over the next week. They didn’t stop there though – starting May 21st, they added Down in Bermuda and the remastered versions of the original Tomb Raider games (1-3) to the freebies, and we had another seven days to grab those!

Epic Games Store’s Mystery Game Giveaway Enters Week 3 with $25 Worth of Freebies

The free game giveaway continued this week, starting May 28th, with LoneStar and Calico being offered as free downloads. These games haven’t been given away for free on the Epic Games Store before. You can add them to your library at no cost until June 4th at 8 a.m. Pacific Time, 11 a.m. Eastern Time, or 5 p.m. Central European Time.

What Kind of Game Is Calico?

Calico is a relaxing game where you manage a magical cat café. When it first came out in December 2020, critics weren’t very impressed, giving it an average score of 55 out of 100 and a 48% recommendation rate based on 25 reviews. While they liked the cute, colorful art style and calming vibe, they found the gameplay too simple and the game had some technical problems. However, players seem to enjoy Calico much more, with ‘Very Positive’ reviews on Steam from over 2,600 users as of late May 2026.
