Now, a handful of analysts have gathered like a motley crew of fortune tellers, pointing towards three shining signals that suggest Ethereum might just be the diamond in the rough as we march towards the latter half of April.

Ethereum’s Record Network Activity Meets Depressed Prices

Leon Waidmann, the head of research over at Lisk, recently declared a remarkable feat: the Ethereum mainnet processed 3.62 million transactions on April 12. That’s right, folks! For the first time, a digital network has managed to juggle more than 3 million transactions in a single day. Talk about multitasking!

Waidmann observed that daily transactions have been trending upward since November 2025, climbing from a humble 1.5 million to a robust 2.5 million over these past six months. And if that’s not enough, the arrival of 284,000 fresh users in the first quarter and a record supply of stablecoins suggest that Ethereum is not just alive; it’s thriving!

Meanwhile, the folks at Everstake have noted with a raised eyebrow that ETH currently trades over 50% below its all-time high, despite this impressive network activity. The price seems to be in a state of denial, completely ignoring the bustling marketplace around it.

“This creates a notable divergence,” they mused, “because network activity is at peak levels, while price has yet to fully reflect that strength. Historically, such gaps tend to narrow over time.” So, if you’ve ever felt like the universe was conspiring against you, perhaps Ethereum feels the same way. It stands on one of the strongest foundations it has ever had – record usage, a deeply established ecosystem, and continuous progress in scaling and development. In many ways, the situation is reminiscent of a classic tale: where the rich get richer, and the poor… well, they just keep waiting for their moment to shine.

Technical Indicators Flash Bullish Signals

On the technical side, analyst Crypto Patel pulled out the Ethereum Rainbow Chart, a fancy logarithmic regression tool that maps long-term valuation bands. According to Patel,

“The Ethereum Rainbow Chart is saying one simple thing right now. It’s cheap. Not ‘okay to buy.’ Not ‘maybe wait.’ Not ‘hold and hope.’ Just cheap.” Well, if that’s not an enticing invitation, I don’t know what is!

He pointed out that ETH has only wandered into this price band twice before, and both times it scampered off to the upper “Take Profit” range within 18 months. So, in other words, history could be knocking at Ethereum’s door, offering a cup of tea and some rather appealing prospects.

In a separate corner of the crypto circus, analyst Ash Crypto highlighted a confirmed weekly MACD bullish crossover. This Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator tracks momentum shifts on longer timeframes, much like a seasoned detective piecing together clues.

According to Ash Crypto, the previous two weekly MACD crosses on ETH led to rallies of 183% and 75%, respectively. So, if you’re keeping score, that’s quite a record!

As of April 14, with ETH hovering around $2,346, a 183% rally would catapult it to about $6,639, and a more modest 75% increase would place it near $4,105. Whether this confluence of on-chain strength and technical signals translates to sustained price action is anyone’s guess, especially considering the broader economic rollercoaster awaiting us in Q2.
