The Forza Horizon series has consistently been a strong performer for Microsoft, and the newest installment is no exception. Forza Horizon 6 has quickly broken a series record, reaching over 280,000 concurrent players on Steam during its Early Access period. This is more than three times the peak player count of Forza Horizon 5 (81,096), and it’s important to note that this number only reflects players on the PC version through Steam. Playground Games, thanking players for making Forza Horizon 6 a critically acclaimed game with a 90+ rating, announced they have no plans to stop supporting it. They’re already working on new content, including the Italian Passion Car Pack coming in July, two major expansions, and the long-awaited PS5 version of the game, which is expected later this year.

Players are still talking about the “Maxed Out” achievement in Forza Horizon 6, and many are unhappy with it. The achievement requires reaching Level 100 in Horizon Play – the game’s multiplayer mode – and not just the player’s overall level. Some players feel this takes an unreasonably long time and involves too much repetitive gameplay.
