You can find fresh bamboo shoots near the panda’s home on Starsand Island. They grow not only around the home itself, but also on the hillsides and in the taller grass on the eastern side of Cloudrest Lake. These areas generally have longer grass than other parts of the island.
Bamboo shoots are low to the ground and blend in with their surroundings, making them tricky to find. Your best bet is to watch for a subtle sparkle near objects on the ground – that’s how you’ll spot them.
To collect a young bamboo shoot, walk up to it and press the F key when you see the on-screen message. This will add the shoot to your bag. If you already have bamboo shoots, the new one will be added to the existing stack.
