Gears of War: E-Day Release Month Potentially Leaked

Microsoft plans to reveal more about its new game, Gears of War: E-Day, with a dedicated presentation soon after the Xbox Games Showcase in June. While an official release date is expected to be announced then, a recent leak suggests we might already know when the game is coming out.

According to Insider Gaming, “Gears of War: E-Day” might be released in September. This speculation comes from the game’s sponsorship of AAA Triplemania, a major wrestling event in Mexico, happening on September 11th and 13th. It’s likely the game will launch either during or just before this event.

Adding to the excitement, WWE historically only promoted video games at their events if the game was already out or about to be released. This suggests we might see a September release date announced during the upcoming Gears of War: E-Day presentation, but it’s best to remain cautiously optimistic.

Okay, so mark your calendars! The big Xbox Games Showcase and a deep dive into the new Gears of War are happening on Sunday, June 7th. It’s just a few days after Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest gets things started. I’m hoping to see a ton of new game reveals, especially exclusives, but we’ll probably also get some announcements from other developers too. I’m pretty hyped!

Xbox is making some big changes under its new leader, Asha Sharma, to get the brand back on track. Recently, they lowered the price of Game Pass after raising it last year. To make this price reduction possible, new Call of Duty games will no longer be available on the service the day they are released.
