In a clear and conversational tone, The creators of Hollow Knight: Silksong have made it official that those playing the game on Nintendo Switch will get the upgraded version for Nintendo Switch 2 at no additional cost.
In two years’ time, on September 4, 2025, Team Cherry’s much-awaited video game, Hollow Knight: Silksong, is finally making its debut, and now we know its prices! Development for this exciting title started back in 2018, and just two days before the grand launch, players have been given a final heads-up by the developers.
Hollow Knight: Silksong Devs Reveal Key Delivery Details for Switch and Steam
In a recent update shared through GameReactor by Team Cherry, it was announced that those who are backers or have completed the survey will soon receive their game keys prior to the release. For Nintendo Switch players, these keys will be sent directly to their email inbox. However, for Switch 2 users, they’ll need to follow a few extra steps:
1. Redeem the Switch key you received.
2. Download the game onto your system.
3. Visit the eShop to download the free Hollow Knight: Silksong Upgrade Pack to access the platform’s enhanced features.
