How to Complete Something to Prove & Cressida’s Way Challenges in 007 First Light
Okay, so I was tackling the “In at the Deep End” section, and those “Something to Prove” and “Cressida’s Way” challenges were a bit tricky because you need to grab a flag in each. But honestly, I found a really easy way to do both! The video above shows how to bypass all the guards and get straight to the flag, so I’ve combined a guide for both challenges into one. It’s super straightforward!
- Immediately drop down from spawn and follow into the building to the left.
- The guard will leave, and you can continue forward, following the guard straight through to the next room.
- Stand behind the wooden boards until the guard goes up the stairs, and the other guard stands by the stairs.
- Head left behind some cover, and activate the Q-Watch to hack the target to distract the guard so you can head upstairs.
- Head left of the patrolling guard and enter the grass while you wait for the guard to move.
- Head to the grass and vault up to the next set of stairs, and head behind the box.
- Sneak past the guard and head into the tall grass, and follow the tall grass until you meet the armored guard.
- To the right of the armored guard is a speaker you can hack to distract him, which allows you to head upstairs.
- There’s one more guard up here, so avoid him and climb the ladder to reach the flag.
How to Complete the Monroe’s Way Challenge in 007 First Light
This video shows you how to find every enemy in the area. The challenge should finish before you grab the flag – if it doesn’t, that means some enemies are still hiding. Remember to use the Q-Lens (press L1 or LB) to see enemies even through walls, helping you locate them all.
Okay, so staying hidden is super important. If the enemy spots me, they’ll call in backup, and that means way more bad guys to take down before I can even think about grabbing the flag. It gets messy fast, so stealth is key!
How to Complete the White Flag & Always Do the Unexpected Challenges in 007 First Light
You can complete the “White Flag” and “Always Do the Unexpected” challenges at the same time during the “Compound” part of the game. The video shows a complete walkthrough of how to do this using stealth and without fighting, and below are the steps we followed.
- After confronting the guard and using the bluff mechanic for the first time, head down the ledge on the left.
- Continue forward and hug the ledge on the left so you can drop down again and enter the tall grass.
- Head up the stairs, and on the left, you’ll see a hole in the wall that you can enter.
- Take another left to enter the balcony area, and climb the blue pipe all the way up.
- Use the open window on the left to vault through and head left, then immediately right to vault through the window.
- On your right, there’s a set of stairs you can head up.
- Stick to the right against the boxes and dash towards the blue door, where you can open it and find the flag.
How to Complete the Party Crasher Challenge in 007 First Light
You’ll face 30 enemies within the Compound. Use the Q-Lens to spot them, and quickly take them down before more arrive. Don’t forget to find the Compound Key and search the basement – there are enemies hiding down there as well.
Finish the task first, then look for the flag. Wait until you see a confirmation message before claiming it, because there might still be opponents nearby.
