Since the announcement of the Wishblossom Ranch expansion, players have been excited to meet the new horses. Now that the DLC is available in Dreamlight Valley, they finally can! These horses aren’t like other animals you befriend; instead, you can call them whenever you need a quick way to travel around the valley.
Before you can start riding horses in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Wishblossom Ranch, you’ll need to unlock them first. Here’s a straightforward guide on how to do it.
All Horses in Disney Dreamlight Valley
As far as we know, Wishblossom Ranch has five horses. These are:
- Wishblossom Horse
- Maximus
- Khan
- Pegasus
- Sven
How to Unlock All Horses in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Cave Location (A Wishful Invitation Quest)
You’ll unlock the Wishblossom Horse fairly early in the game, during the “A Wishful Invitation” quest. As soon as you enter the new area, you’ll meet Snow White. She’ll ask for your help – a swarm of bees is blocking the entrance to her ranch, and she needs you to clear them away.
Once you’ve spoken with her, the game will direct you to a cave. It’s located right behind Snow White! Look slightly to her left – you’ll find a small path leading upwards. Follow that path, and it will take you directly to the cave.
How to Find the Wishblossom Horse in DDV (Horse Location)
When you enter the cave as a Dreamer, you’ll find a large flower right in front of you. Simply approach and interact with it. It will speak for a moment, and then the Wishblossom Horse will appear. After that, you can personalize your Wishblossom Horse by changing its color, choosing a design, and giving it a name.
The standard Wishblossom Horse is just the beginning – the downloadable content lets you earn a few more. As you play and finish quests, you’ll unlock Maximus, Khan, and Pegasus. Sven is a bit different, though. He’s only available if you purchase the Deluxe edition of the DLC.
How to Summon and Ride Horses in Dreamlight Valley
Once you’re ready, you can mount your horse and begin riding. Use the ‘E’ key to ride, ‘T’ to feed, and ‘R’ to pet your horse. Movement will feel just like controlling your character.
To get off your horse, press the ‘C’ key. You can continue to collect items and chat with people while riding. Plus, you can call your horse to you at any time by pressing ‘N’.
