How to Get Dreamless Seeds in NTE (Life Skills Upgrade)

In the game, Life Skills – represented as skills that evolve from ‘Neverness to Everness’ – are unique to each character and help you become more effective and earn more rewards when doing things other than fighting.

If you’re eager to improve your character’s skills quickly, here’s a guide to the fastest ways to level up Life Skills and what you need to do.

How to Level Up Life Skills in NTE

Okay, so in NTE, I’ve figured out how to level up my characters’ skills. You use this item called a Dreamless Seed to do it. Basically, I open the ‘Character’ menu on my phone, then go to the “Esper Ability” tab, and click the Life Skills icon on the left side of the screen. It’s pretty straightforward once you know where to look!

To improve your Life Skills, click the “Level Up” button in the bottom right corner of the screen. If you have enough Dreamless Seeds, your skill will increase by one level. There are five levels for each Life Skill, and upgrading costs the same for all players.

In total, you’ll need 56 Dreamless Seeds to max out the Life Skills of one character.

Because the cost to improve your Life Skills increases dramatically as you level them up, it’s usually more efficient to get several of your characters to a good level in Life Skills rather than trying to max out just one.

How to Get Dreamless Seeds in NTE

Dreamless Seeds can be obtained in one of three ways in NTE:

  • Exploration Guide Daily Activity
  • Fair Exchange
  • Hunter Exchange

Exploration Guide Daily Activity

Earn 100 Participation points each day through the Exploration Guide’s Daily Activity, and you’ll receive 4 Dreamless Seeds. You can do this every day after the server resets, so consistent players can get at least four Dreamless Seeds daily.

Fair Exchange

You can purchase 10 Dreamless Seeds from the Fair Exchange section of the Mall in NTE for 15 Lost Pieces each. These seeds are restocked every 30 days (one month). Lost Pieces are earned by trying your luck on the Standard or Limited Boards (through the gacha system).

Hunter Exchange

As a big fan of collecting things in the game, I was excited to find out about 100 Dreamless Seeds. You can snag them at the Hunter Exchange in the Mall within NTE, but they cost 6,000 Fons apiece. There’s a catch, though – you need to upgrade your City Tycoon level to unlock the listing where you can actually buy them. The details on how much upgrading costs are shown below.

Best Life Skills to Upgrade First in NTE

There are four categories of Life Skills in NTE:

  • Vehicle: Reduce damage taken by vehicles and their repair costs.
  • Management: Increases dish prices, reduces ingredient consumption, and increases foot traffic in The Cafe by Origen.
  • Bond: Increase the affinity and affection gained by party members (exclusive to Esper Zero).
  • Others: Making City Delivery more profitable.

To start, focus on improving Life Skills that boost sales at The Cafe by Origen. This minigame will be your main way to earn Fons during the early and middle parts of the game, NTE.
