How to Get Lucenite Fast in Saros (Farming Tips)

As a big fan of Saros, I’m always looking for ways to get stronger, and Lucenite is key! It lets you upgrade your Armor Matrix and power up Arjun. You mostly get it by defeating enemies and exploring the different areas in the game. Honestly, the more Lucenite you collect quickly, the faster you can unlock skills and become a real force to be reckoned with. This guide is all about the best ways to farm Lucenite so you can progress through the game much faster!

Rerun Previous Biomes

Saros features eight distinct biomes, and you’ll progress through them all as you play the main story. After completing a biome, you can return to explore it more thoroughly, gather any remaining resources, and challenge the boss again.

The first area, Shattered Rise, is still a great place to quickly collect resources because you’ll be powerful enough to defeat enemies easily, particularly once you’ve upgraded your skills. Enemies in the starting areas don’t get stronger as you level up, which means you can complete runs much faster.

Once you gain new tools, such as the grapple, you’ll be able to find secret spots within each area. These hidden areas contain extra collectibles and valuable resources, including Lucenite.

Focus on Increasing the ‘Drive’ Stat

In Saros, the Drive stat mainly boosts how much Lucenite Arjun earns from each enemy. Increasing Drive also speeds up your Proficiency leveling, letting you unlock better gear more quickly during a run.

There are two primary methods to upgrade the Drive stat in Saros.

  • Temporary Upgrades: Players can increase their Drive stats mid-run by collecting artifacts. There are a variety of artifacts that will shape Arjun’s build during a run, but the ones that offer a boost to his Drive stat will increase his ability to farm Lucenite and level up Proficiency quicker.
  • Permanent Upgrades: You can invest the accumulated Lucenite into upgrading the ‘Drive’ nodes in the skill tree to permanently boost Arjun’s Lucenite collection abilities.

Complete Eclipse Sections of Biomes

Right in the first area, players will find an Eclipse gate. This gate changes the game world and how it plays. Enemies become more aggressive and release harmful orbs that reduce Arjun’s health, but defeating them will reward players with significantly more Lucenite.

One of the best ways to collect Lucenite in Saros is by starting and finishing Eclipse areas. Although you have to do this in the beginning, you can sometimes skip it later on. It’s still a good idea to complete these sections whenever you can, as they significantly boost the amount of Lucenite you get each time you play.

Get Lucenite from Aether Orbs at Full Health

Throughout the game, you’ll find Aether Orbs of different sizes. These restore Arjun’s health when he’s damaged. If Arjun is already at full health when he collects one, you’ll receive Lucenite instead. While the amount of Lucenite you get from each orb isn’t huge, it can add up if you use this strategy consistently with the other tips in this guide.

Optimize Lucenite Collection Skills

As we talked about before, you mainly get Lucenite by defeating enemies. Keep in mind that the Lucenite orbs don’t last forever – they’ll vanish after a while. Also, if you fail a run, you’ll lose half of your collected Lucenite, which will make it harder to progress.

To collect Lucenite more efficiently, it’s best to upgrade both the Lucenite Extension and Lucenite Saver skills. The Lucenite Extension keeps Lucenite on the ground longer, giving you more time to grab it after defeating enemies. The Lucenite Saver reduces how much Lucenite you lose when a run fails, helping you advance through harder areas more quickly.

You can also turn on the Lucenite Magnetism Carcosan Modifier to make it easier for Arjun to collect Lucenite orbs. This is especially helpful in areas with many enemies, as it increases his chances of automatically grabbing dropped Lucenite while you’re avoiding attacks.

Carcosan Modifiers are a unique addition to the game Saros. You can start using them after finishing the Ancient Depths biome and defeating the boss, Bastion.
