In Arknights: Endfield, Promotion works similarly to Ascension in Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves. It lets you raise your character’s level cap and unlock new skills, providing a clear path for progression early in the game. One resource you’ll need for Promotion is called Red Bolete. Here’s how to obtain Red Bolete in Arknights: Endfield.
Red Bolete Location In Arknights Endfield
You can find Red Bolete in Endfield once you reach Authority Level 25 and start the “Down the Hill” quest. This quest takes you from Originium Science Park to Origin Lodespring, which is where Red Bolete is located.
You can reach Origin Lodespring by heading northeast from Originium Science Park, past the Cliffside Trail. But you’ll need to complete a certain point in the main story before you can get in, which is why you need to be at least level 25.
When you’re in the area, look for icons that look like a dome with bunny ears. One will let you select Red Bolete, and the other will let you select Chrysodendra.
Once you find a Red Bolete, you can keep track of where it is by selecting the item and choosing “Rare Gathering Sites” to see its location.
After finding a Red Bolete, you can get its seeds and grow more in the Dijiang Production: Growth Chamber. But before you can use the Growth Chamber, you’ll need to upgrade the Control Nexus. You can start the quest to do this at level 24 – so you’re ready to begin it now! The quest is called Dijiang Upgrade and Maintenance I.
How To Use Red Bolete In Arknights Endfield
In Arknights: Endfield, Red Bolete is used to help Operators reach a higher level – specifically, to promote them from level 40 to 60. This makes your characters stronger and unlocks new abilities. Before using Red Bolete, you use Pink Bolete to promote Operators from level 20 to 40.
Promotion II will cost you the following items:
- 25 Protodisk
- 5 Red Bolete
- 6.5k T-Creds
Once you reach Promotion Level II, you’ll be able to upgrade your Operator’s gear to purple quality. Endmins can also now improve character skills up to level 6, previously limited to level 3. This requires Chrysodendra, which you can obtain from Origin Lodespring.
