How to Get the Dancing Arnie Relic in BO7 Zombies

The Dancing Arnie is a special item you can find in the Totenreich map, and it’s incredibly useful for Cursed Mode. When you use it, you get perks randomly from machines. So, even if you try to buy a specific perk like Jugger-Nog, you might end up with something different!

If you want to get the Dancing Arnie Relic, you’ll need to gather some ingredients and then cook them. We’ll show you exactly where to find each ingredient, where the Relic portal is located, and give you some helpful tips to succeed in the trial.

Before you begin the quest for the Jotunn Star, you’ll need to collect three specific items. If you don’t, you won’t be able to get the Dancing Arnie Relic. And remember, you need to be playing on Cursed Mode Tier 1 or a higher difficulty!

How to Get the Dancing Arnie Relic in Totenreich

Metal Pot Location

First, go to Skallen Market and find Mule Kick. Behind Mule Kick, you’ll find a metal pot at the stall shown in the image. You need to crouch down to pick it up. Once you have the pot, take it to the fire pit in Blodheim Hall, near Vulture Aid, and place it there.

Tankard Location

After you’ve set down the pot, you’ll need to find a tankard. You can locate it on a wooden barrel in the southwest corner of Eidskallen Square, near the zipline to Fishery Island. Once you have the tankard, place it inside the pot.

Chilly Chunks Location

Now, let’s get the Chilly Chunks, which you need for the Jotunn Star. You can find them on the Storm Bridge, behind the truck on the right side of where you find Deadshot Daiquiri. Once you have the Chilly Chunks, simply add them to the pot.

Once you’ve put the items in the pot, go back to the truck on Storm Bridge and blow it up with an explosive. This will give you another Chilly Chunk, which you can then use to obtain the Jotunn Star.

Cooked Lobster Location

Next, you’ll need the Flammenfalle Trap and the Necropincer. To proceed, activate the Flammenfalle’s flamethrower using the electrical panel. The goal is to have the Flammenfalle kill the Necropincer, which will cause it to drop the Lobster item. You can achieve this by either damaging the Necropincer first or leading it into the flames.

Red Fish Location

You can start catching the Red Fish from Round 39 onwards, but only when it’s a Frozen Zombie round. Since Round 39 is quite a ways off, we suggest fishing in different areas of the map to find Olaf, Cranker of Cod. He drops the Golden Tide Helm, which helps you get better loot while fishing.

I was so excited to finally catch a Red Fish! I got lucky while fishing on Fishery Island during a Frozen Zombie round – it took until Round 39, but it happened! If you’re still trying to get one, I found this really helpful map of good fishing spots that might help you out.

Activate the Dancing Arnie Relic Portal

With the Lobster and Fish in your possession, go back to the pot in Blodheim Hall and put them inside. This will cause Mr. Peeks to appear and start dancing on the fire pit. To feed him, you’ll need to kill 100 zombies while you have the Jotunn Star equipped, collecting their souls for him.

Once you’ve defeated 100 zombies using the Jotunn Star weapon, a portal for the Dancing Arnie Relic Trial will appear on the wall above the Pack-a-Punch machine on Fishery Island.

The Dancing Arnie Trial forces enemies to only be vulnerable to melee attacks. Here’s how we easily completed it!

How to Complete the Dancing Arnie Relic Trial in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Before you start the Dancing Arnie Relic Trial, you’ll need the Melee Macchiato weapon and a Tier 4 Pack-a-Punch for the Jotunn Star. This trial requires you to only use melee attacks, so the Jotunn Star will help you quickly defeat zombies. We suggest equipping Expresso and Stick ‘n Move as the Major and Minor Augments for your Melee Macchiato to maximize its effectiveness.

Once the trial begins, simply continue training zombies as you normally would. We kept practicing on Fishery Island because it offered enough room to survive, reposition, attack a few zombies, and then quickly resume running in a circle.

During the zombie waves, you’ll encounter Frost Zombies and Acid Zombies, but their long distance from the Jotunn Star shouldn’t make them too difficult. Waves 2 and 5 include powerful HVTs – Necropincers and a Zursa – so be prepared to quickly retreat and swing the Jotunn Star defensively.

Our Thoughts on the Dancing Arnie Relic in Black Ops 7 Zombies

We highly recommend getting the Dancing Arnie Relic. It’s a Siniste Relic, which means you’ll be closer to unlocking the best upgrades for your Pack-a-Punch weapon, and it’s a useful item without any major drawbacks.

When you buy a perk, it’s chosen randomly, but that’s okay because you can buy any perk as many times as you want – unlike in older versions of the game. The only catch is you might end up with a perk you didn’t want, like Death Perception instead of Jugger-Nog, so you’ll need to keep buying perks until you get the one you’re looking for.

Even with that drawback, it’s not a significant enough problem to stop us from using the Dancing Arnie Relic in Cursed Mode. It’s much better than the Vril Sphere, which limits you to only four perks.
