Iron Eagle Pet Location in Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert is home to many legendary creatures, but only a few can become your companions. The magnificent Phoenix is one, and now the Iron Eagle joins its ranks! This unique mechanical bird can be found and tamed in Crimson Desert if you know the right locations and methods.

To tame the Iron Eagle, head to the Hawkstone Ruins in Delesyia. You’ll need to bring 20 Mercury and the Sotdae of Bond with you, so be sure to prepare before trying to get this mechanical pet.

Before you can activate the Iron Eagle, you’ll need to gather Mercury. Check out the guide below to learn where and how to find it.

Iron Eagle Location in Crimson Desert

  • The Iron Eagle is located above the “A” in “Delesyia” on the map at the Hawkstone Ruins.
  • Head to this location at 5 AM, and you can place your hand in the rotating cogwheel when facing east to trigger a cutscene.
  • This cutscene will wake the Iron Eagle from its slumber, and it will now roam the skies above Hawkstone Ruins.

How to Tame the Iron Eagle in Crimson Desert

  • You will need to place the Sotdae of Bond on the floor in the Hawkstone Ruins and fill it with x20 Mercury to tame the Iron Eagle.
  • Mercury can be given to you by trolls at the Scholastone Institute if you have +100 Trust with them.
  • You can also use a Frost Elemental Imbued Charged Shot on Mercury Pools located east of Deadfire Mountain in Demeniss or north of the Silver Wolf Mountain in Pailune.
  • Each Mercury will provide +5 Trust, so you’ll need a total of x20 Mercury in order to get +100 Trust with the Iron Eagle.
  • After +100 Trust has been reached, you can approach the Iron Eagle and interact with it to officially tame it as a pet.

The Iron Eagle behaves like a typical pet – it will follow you around and gather items from the ground.
