The upcoming Mario Party-style game, officially titled Lego Party, will hit the shelves on September 30.
You can find this game on the following platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X & S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam.
The Lego Party game is a typical board game variant, offering personalized Lego figures, approximately 60 mini-games, and multiplayer action for up to four participants, whether playing together locally or engaging in private online matches across different platforms. However, it won’t include the option for online matchmaking with random players.
In this Lego Party, you’ll experience a game show-like adventure where you navigate around the board, overcoming challenges, and participating in mini-games to gather Golden Bricks. The player who accumulates the most Golden Bricks by the end of the game emerges as the winner. Rest assured, there are no surprise Golden Bricks distributed at the conclusion of the game that could potentially turn a victory into defeat.
In my review of the game during Summer Game Fest, I referred to Lego Party as a game that has the essential components needed to become an exceptional party game.
During the whole span of the Play Days event, the LEGO Party booth stood out as the busiest and noisiest among all the game presentations. This is a positive indication since our aim was to foster camaraderie.
