Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will be a major attraction at Tokyo Game Show 2025, where the developers plan to unveil new stages and other content. The game was a surprise reveal earlier this year during a Sony State of Play presentation, and it’s a significant partnership between Sony, Marvel, and Arc System Works.
After typically announcing games through its own online events, Sony is making a significant return to the Tokyo Game Show in 2025. They’ve announced plans for a large booth showcasing upcoming titles, including *Battlefield 6*, *Phantom Blade Zero*, and *Resident Evil: Requiem*, among others. Fans can also look forward to a new demo of the highly anticipated *Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls* with fresh content.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls TGS Demo Features New Stages
Sony has announced that the upcoming Tokyo Game Show demo for the game will include fresh content never before seen by fans. The demo for *Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls* will showcase new stages, though specific details about their design or themes haven’t been released yet. Currently, players have only seen the New York stage created by ArcSys and the game’s main character lineup, which is packed with references to Marvel lore and features quick transitions to help players call in assist characters.
The latest demo will not only showcase new stages, but also allow players to finally control Ghost Rider and Spider-Man. Although they appeared in the original reveal trailer for *Marvel Tokon*, they weren’t available in earlier test versions. As anticipated, both characters promise to add exciting new gameplay features, focusing on speed and powerful, wide-range attacks.
Arc System Works is committed to supporting *Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls* for a long time, with plans extending into the next decade. They anticipate releasing updates and content well after the game’s 2026 launch, much like they do with titles like *Guilty Gear Strive*. Producer Takeshi Yamanaka has indicated they’re even planning for a future version on the PlayStation 6.
