Possible spoilers for Overwatch Reign of Talon Seasons 3–6 below.

So, a really reliable Overwatch leaker just dropped some info about the next four heroes coming to the game! Apparently, we’re looking at new heroes dropping around June (Season 3), August (Season 4), October (Season 5), and December (Season 6). I’m super hyped to see what they’re like!

On April 14th, Overwatch launched Season 2: Summit, continuing the year-long Talon storyline. The update introduces Lifeweaver, a new mobile damage-dealing hero, and he’s the sixth of ten heroes planned for release in 2026. Interestingly, details about Lifeweaver’s abilities were accurately leaked by an Overwatch insider named SarenArtanis shortly before the official announcement, and their YouTube account disappeared soon after.

The newest hero, featured in Season 3, leads the Kanezaka branch of the Hashimoto family. She tasked Mizuki, a hero from the first season of Overwatch, with spying on Kiriko and her Yokai. Rumor has it she fights with two pistols and a bayonet. Many are comparing her to Revy from Black Lagoon or a more modern version of Cassidy, suggesting she’ll be a powerful and unpredictable damage-dealing character.

Season 3 will also introduce the Japan Night map, which would fit really well with a new hero based on Hashimoto.

Everyone already knows who the next hero in Season 4 of Reign of Talon will be! Hints, including a large figure seen in promotional material for Overwatch, strongly suggest it’s D.Mon, a teammate of D.Va’s. Reliable leaker SarenArtanis confirms she’ll be a tank hero with a unique health system, different from typical armor and shields. She’s also expected to be a fast-moving, flying character, similar to Angela from Marvel Rivals.

Rumors suggest the heroes introduced in Seasons 5 and 6 will have ties to Iceland, which has been confirmed as a new map coming to Overwatch in 2026. The Season 5 hero is reportedly an Omnic detective who works for either Helix Security or the International Justice Commission, investigating a prison located in Iceland. This hero is a support character who uses a cane and has the ability to reduce enemy healing.

The newest hero coming in Season 6 is Hivemind, a support character. She was originally part of early hero ideas, along with characters like Mama Hong and Phreak, and her design features a swarm of diamond-shaped drones. Interestingly, Hivemind is already established in the Overwatch universe – she was the mastermind behind the hostage situation that forced Reinhardt to retire. According to leaks, Vendetta will use Junker Queen’s stolen Null Sector ship to build a robot shown in previews of the Iceland map. This robot will then be used to rescue Hivemind, who is apparently imprisoned there.
