This arc will wrap up the current storyline based on the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games, following Liko, Roy, Dot, and Ult, and introducing a new character with a Ditto. The announcement also hinted at connections to popular spin-off games like Pokémon Unite, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Sleep, suggesting that the anime might feature episodes based on these games.
Ditto being featured so prominently in the promotional poster suggests the new episode might focus on the concept of Pokémon transformations, similar to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time & Darkness.
