Each week, Re:Zero Season 4 continues to offer strong episodes following Subaru Natsuki’s challenging experiences within the Great Pleiades Library. While it’s a dangerous place, Subaru is determined to overcome the obstacles and climb to the top of the watchtower, both to save Rem and help those hurt by the Witch Cult. Currently, only five episodes of Re:Zero Season 4 remain, scheduled to air in the spring of 2026.

The official website announced that the fourth season of Re:Zero will be released in two parts. Eleven episodes will premiere this spring, and the remaining eight episodes will begin airing in August 2026. Episode 6 of Re:Zero Season 4 is coming soon, continuing the story after the appearance of Reid Astrea, the first Sword Saint, during the second trial for Subaru and his companions.

The sixth episode of Re:Zero Season 4 is scheduled to come out on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Japan and in many other countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and across Europe.

Season 4 of Re:Zero is adapting events from the light novels, focusing on Arc 6. In this arc, Subaru Natsuki journeys across the dangerous Augria Sand Dunes to reach the Pleiades Watchtower. While the tower is said to house an all-knowing sage named Shaula, it’s revealed she isn’t a true sage, but simply the tower’s caretaker.

Where to Watch Re:Zero Season 4, Episode 6 Sub and Dub?

The fourth season of Re:Zero is scheduled to premiere as part of Crunchyroll’s spring 2026 lineup, alongside other popular isekai anime like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4, Ascendance of a Bookworm, and Reborn as a Vending Machine. Episode 6 of Re:Zero Season 4 will be available on Crunchyroll on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the same time it airs in Japan.

As expected, Crunchyroll will offer both subtitled and dubbed versions of Re:Zero Season 4, Episode 6 for its members, letting them choose how they want to watch. This highlights Re:Zero’s continued popularity as a major anime in the isekai genre, since Crunchyroll doesn’t give all spring anime series this level of support.

Episode 6 of Re:Zero Season 4 picks up where the last left off, with Subaru continuing his attempt to pass the second trial in the Great Pleiades Library. Failure means certain death by Shaula’s hand. To help Subaru succeed, Julius Juukulius – who has had his name stolen – steps forward to battle Reid Astrea, the incredibly strong Sword Saint in charge of the exam. Julius will fight Reid in Subaru’s place, and must win if they want to move on to the next trial.

It’s a difficult task, given that Reid Astrea is the first ever Sword Saint and could be as powerful as the current one, Reinhard Van Astrea. Episode 6 of Re:Zero Season 4 may also offer new clues about the library’s mysterious archive. The group needs to discover the identity of the deceased person they’re searching for to get the answers they need. Meanwhile, Julius Juukulius is expected to play a more prominent role than Subaru in the same episode of Re:Zero Season 4.
