The Rhonid Large Shield in Crimson Desert is a beautiful shield made of pure gold and decorated with rubies. You can find it inside a locked treasure chest on the upper floor of Lioncrest Manor. This manor is located northwest of Hernand City – look for it directly below the letter ‘D’ on the game map.

How to Get the Rhonid Large Shield in Crimson Desert

Before heading to Lioncrest Manor for the Rhonid Large Shield, be prepared. You’ll need either a Key to unlock a door during the mission, or a Mask to steal one from inside the manor.

  • A Mask can be purchased from the Back Alley Vendor southeast of Hernand for 10 Copper, by completing the Bounty for Jeffrey, or by killing and looting bandits near Hernand.
  • Keys can also be purchased from the Back Alley Vendor or as random loot from dead bandits and other enemies.

Once you have done your preparations, here’s what you need to do to get the Rhonid Large Shield.

    Head northwest from Hernand City to reach Lioncrest Manor.

    From the main entrance, circle around to the right side of the manor.

    Look up, and you’ll see three windows.

    Climb up to the window in the middle, open it, and enter the manor.

  1. Go through the large double doors to reach the central hall.

    2. Head straight ahead and cross over to the other side of the indoor balcony.

    If you don’t have a Key, steal the one placed on the table near the corner. You can only do this if you have a Mask equipped to enable criminal behavior.

    Use the Key to open the locked door across from the table on the balcony.

  2. Open the chest inside to obtain the Rhonid Large Shield and a Palmer Pill.

Trying to steal the Key from inside Lioncrest Manor will result in a penalty to your Hernand Contribution Points and a small bounty will be placed on your head. It’s safer and more beneficial to obtain a Key from outside the manor instead.
