Solo Leveling: 8 New Power-Ups Jinwoo Will Unlock in Season 3

Throughout the first two seasons of Solo Leveling, the main character, Sung Jinwoo, receives a constant stream of helpful upgrades. He gains powerful allies in the form of shadows, and consistently finds new weapons, items, and skills, ensuring he remains incredibly strong.

Watching the story unfold, it’s clear that Season 3 of Solo Leveling is going to give Jinwoo some serious power boosts. These upgrades will definitely make him a much stronger fighter, and I have a feeling they’ll be crucial for him to overcome the incredibly powerful enemies he’s facing – maybe even enough to change the fate of the world.

Ashborn’s Black Heart

Acquiring the Black Heart solves Sung Jinwoo’s main challenge during fights. Although Jinwoo has a lot of mana, it’s still possible to deplete it. Maintaining his shadow army – particularly the stronger members – demands a huge amount of his energy.

After Jinwoo obtains the Black Heart in Solo Leveling, he no longer struggles with limited mana. The Black Heart massively increases his mana capacity – to around 100,000 – letting him use much stronger abilities for longer periods during fights.

Kamish’s Wrath

In the series Solo Leveling, Kamish’s Wrath is a remarkably powerful and adaptable weapon wielded by Sung Jinwoo. These magical daggers are crafted from the fangs of Kamish and are considered the second most powerful magical weapon in the entire world of the story.

Thomas Andre, an American hunter, eventually gives Kamish’s Wrath to Sung Jinwoo as a gift. These daggers are incredibly powerful, increasing Jinwoo’s attack power by more than 1,500 and letting him change how heavy they feel whenever he wants.

Complete System Control

The system plays a vital role in Sung Jinwoo’s development in Solo Leveling. It provides unique abilities only he can use, like gaining levels, collecting and storing the shadows of defeated enemies, and receiving special items and rewards from quests. Despite its power, Jinwoo isn’t actually in complete control of how the system works.

Once Ashborn turns against the Architect – the one who built and managed the system – this restriction will be lifted. The system will instantly acknowledge Jinwoo as the new administrator, giving him complete control. He’ll even be able to delete the system whenever he chooses.

Jima

Jima is a powerful new character, or ‘shadow,’ that Jinwoo will gain as the story of Solo Leveling continues. Originally the boss of an A-rank dungeon belonging to the Ahjin Guild and known as Naga, Jima is now an elite general who appears as a serpent-like humanoid wielding two black tridents.

Though not as powerful as Beru, Jima—the Boss Naga—is a formidable opponent in Solo Leveling. He can change his size to suit the fight, growing larger to match his enemies and the environment. His attacks are incredibly powerful, even capable of instantly defeating a giant.

Greed

Greed is a powerful new entity joining Sung Jinwoo’s growing army of shadows. He comes from a top-level S-rank hunter, so he’s incredibly skilled in battle and brings a lot of experience to the fight. Without giving too much away, he’s expected to be a valuable asset.

Initially, Sung Jinwoo didn’t particularly like Greed, but he grew to enjoy leading him. Greed is a powerful shadow creature, easily recognized by his impressive physique and aggressive fighting style, and is known for his surprising abilities throughout the story.

Bellion

Honestly, it was incredible! Just when I thought Sung Jinwoo needed a serious power-up for his shadow army, Bellion and all the other Ashborn shadow soldiers literally fell from the sky, ready to serve him! It was such a dramatic and awesome moment – exactly what he needed!

For fans of the manhwa, Bellion is widely considered Sung Jinwoo’s strongest shadow creature. He’s also completely devoted to Ashborn, acting as the leader of all the shadows. Because he’s far more powerful than any other shadow, Bellion is a major asset in defending the world.

Cup of Reincarnation

The Cup of Reincarnation in Solo Leveling demands immense bravery and determination. Sung Jinwoo is one of the rare people who has what it takes to use it, as it allows him to change destiny and strive for a more favorable future.

Even though Sung Jinwoo won’t personally use the Cup of Reincarnation in Solo Leveling, he’s the one who will ultimately decide whether or not to activate it. This means he’s responsible for whatever happens as a result of that decision.

The Cup of Reincarnation can essentially rewind time, but it appears to only work for about 10 years. Jinwoo can use it to bring back those who died in the war, though they won’t remember him.

Shadow Monarch’s Full Power

Right from the start of Solo Leveling, Sung Jinwoo is fated to gain the complete power of the Shadow Monarch. Joining the system is simply a necessary step that begins his journey toward becoming that powerful being.

When certain requirements are fulfilled, Sung Jinwoo will unlock the true potential of Ashborn. This will dramatically increase all of his abilities – including the power of his shadows, his mana capacity, and both his active and passive skills – making him far stronger than before and confirming his status as the new Shadow Monarch.
