Images of four new LEGO Harry Potter sets have appeared online, even though they aren’t scheduled to be released until summer 2026. The leaked sets include some cute designs, like a small LEGO version of Hagrid’s baby dragon, Norbert.
LEGO consistently releases new sets based on the popular Harry Potter franchise, as it’s one of their most enduring licensed themes. Earlier in 2026, they launched a large collection of new sets, including the Enchanted Flying Ford Anglia (76470), Luna Lovegood’s House (76467), and a special edition Philosopher’s Stone set (76466). Most recently, in February 2026, they released a smaller set, Dumbledore’s Office with Harry Potter (30724), containing 42 pieces.
LEGO Harry Potter Summer 2026 Wave Includes Hagrid’s Baby Dragon and More
Four new LEGO Harry Potter sets have appeared online, spotted through two different sources. LEGO news leaker Lite shared images of the 76478 Book Nook: Dumbledore’s Office set, and three more – 76473 Hogwarts Castle: East Wing, 76474 Hogwarts Herbology Plants, and 76477 Norbert: Hagrid’s Baby Dragon – were found on the website of French retailer FNAC. While rumors have previously detailed most of these sets, this is the first time anyone has actually seen pictures of them.

The new LEGO set featuring Hagrid’s baby dragon, Norbert (set number 76477), is getting a lot of attention for its adorable design. Expected to cost around $50, the set shows Norbert hatching from a cracked egg with his wings spread, recreating a memorable scene from the first Harry Potter book. Leaks suggest the set will launch in summer 2026, possibly to coincide with the premiere of the new Harry Potter TV series on HBO, which is expected to feature Norbert. The set will include 482 pieces.
Along with other recently revealed sets, the Hogwarts Castle: East Wing continues a pattern of LEGO releasing portions of the larger Hogwarts Castle. A similar set, the Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing, launched in January 2026 for $99.99. The East Wing is expected to cost $269.99, likely due to its significantly larger size – it contains 2,164 pieces, almost 140% more than the Hospital Wing’s 907 pieces. In addition, a new set, 76474 Hogwarts Herbology Plants, will be the second LEGO model to feature Mandrakes. LEGO previously released a single Mandrake set (76433) in June 2024, which was discontinued in November 2025. That model had 579 pieces.

Although there’s no confirmed release date for the recently leaked LEGO sets, most rumors suggest they’ll become available in August 2026. Some leaks also indicate a smaller release in September 2026, featuring a LEGO version of the Ministry of Magic. This model is expected to be one of the biggest Harry Potter sets ever made, with almost 3,500 pieces.
