In Neverness to Everness, committing crimes such as stealing cars, damaging public property, or harming people will raise your wanted level. If your wanted level gets too high—more than one star—you risk being arrested by the police.
If you want to avoid arrest in Hethereau, reduce your warrant value to zero. Doing so will make it seem like you never committed a crime. You can lower your warrant by staying away from the police, using special furniture found in certain locations, or by eating Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookies.
How to Lower Warrant Value in NTE
In Neverness to Everness, you can lower your wanted level and the value of any warrants against you in three different ways.

Running Away from Police Officers
In NTE, your wanted level goes down as you escape the police. But if an officer spots you or gets close, your wanted level will stop decreasing until you move further away.
Once your wanted level reaches one star in NTE, you’ll become a target for the police, who will actively pursue you and try to arrest you. The longer you avoid them, your wanted level will slowly decrease. A good way to escape and lose the police is to get on top of buildings and wait for them to give up the chase.
Anomaly Furniture
The Coocoo Alert device automatically cancels any outstanding warrants when you enter a property where it’s placed. It comes standard in every player house, so you don’t have to buy it with Fons.
If an Appraiser has a warrant (indicated by one or more stars), they can’t use fast travel. To remove the warrant using the Coocoo Alert furniture, you must either go to one of your properties in person, or wait for the warrant level to drop below one star.
Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookies
In the game NTE, you can get Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookies by either finding and returning lost items to a Security Office or by fixing City Violations. Eating these cookies lowers your warrant level – each one reduces it by about one star.
You can also trade these cookies to police officers at Security Offices for items. When you talk to them, simply choose the “I’ve got an extra Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookie” option.
