As we approach the middle of 2026, gamers have already enjoyed a fantastic lineup of titles, including impressive games like Crimson Desert and Resident Evil 9. Fortunately, these great games are available on almost every platform – consoles and PCs alike. However, recently the PlayStation 5 seems to be leading the way, and it doesn’t look like that will change anytime soon.
With June almost here, PlayStation is continuing its strong momentum by releasing a variety of games across many genres, solidifying its position as a top gaming platform. No matter what you like to play – whether it’s platformers, horror, shooters, or RPGs – you’re sure to find something to enjoy in the next few weeks.
We didn’t include EA Sports UFC 6 and Dead or Alive 6 Last Round because we wanted to highlight newer games instead of focusing on popular, ongoing series.

BrokenLore: FOLLOW
The Horrors Continue
Details:
- Price: Not yet confirmed ($19.99 predicted)
- Story of self-acceptance explored through a darker perspective
- Release Date: June 1, 2026
BrokenLore: FOLLOW is the latest installment in a remarkably strong horror series, and I think it’s the most compelling one yet. The game puts you in the shoes of a woman named Anne, and explores her pain—both memories and feelings—through a deeply unsettling and symbolic experience. It’s disturbing, featuring frightening creatures alongside a twisted and distorted atmosphere.
I really enjoyed playing UNFOLLOW and DON’T WATCH, and was impressed by their quality and unique ideas. So, when I learned a new game was coming, I was excited to get back into that spooky atmosphere. A big part of what I like about these games is that they’re made by a dedicated indie studio – Serafini Productions clearly knows horror. With more games in the series planned, it’s a great time to discover some of the best horror experiences available.
Gothic 1 Remake
Returning To An RPG Classic
Details:
- Price: $59.99
- Preserves the gameplay of the original
- Release Date: June 5, 2026
Okay, so I’m really excited about the Gothic 1 Remake. The original Gothic was a huge deal – it basically laid the groundwork for games like The Witcher, you know? This remake isn’t changing the core stuff I loved, like picking a faction and how the world actually reacts to your choices. It’s still all about exploring and trying to survive. But, of course, they’re giving the whole thing a massive graphical upgrade to make it look amazing by today’s standards. It’s like getting to experience a classic all over again, but with a fresh coat of paint!
I didn’t revisit the original game until the late 2010s, and even though it shows its age in some ways, it’s still one of the best RPGs from that time. When you compare it to other games of the era, and especially the first game in the series, it’s clear that if you’re an RPG fan looking for something truly new and captivating, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better experience.
Denshattack!
Platforming Of A Very Different Kind
Details:
- Price: Not yet confirmed ($29.99 predicted)
- Colorful platformer with plenty of skill expression
- Gothic 1 Remake
- Release Date: June 17, 2026
Denshattack! is unlike most platformer games, and that’s what makes it so appealing. The game’s art style is heavily inspired by anime, giving it a bright and colorful look that keeps the action exciting and visually engaging.
Honestly, the gameplay looks incredible! You’re basically riding this train that breaks all the rules of physics – jumping, grinding, sliding, even flying – and pulling off amazing tricks to rack up points. I was instantly hooked when I first saw the trailer, and the more I see, the more excited I get. It doesn’t just look like a polished and fun platformer, it feels genuinely different, and we don’t see enough of that these days.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam
Be A Part Of History
Details:
- Price: $39.99
- Large-scale, realistic battles
- Release Date: June 18, 2026
Many first-person shooter (FPS) games have come and gone, but Hell Let Loose has remained popular for years. It stands out by emphasizing realistic combat and intense firefights, bringing a more immersive experience to the genre. With the upcoming release of the Vietnam expansion, the game promises to become even more realistic and engaging.
I really enjoyed the first game, especially how it allowed skilled players to stand out and demonstrate their map knowledge, even in large matches. I’m excited about the new setting in the upcoming game and hopeful it will become a major title in the genre.
NBA THE RUN
Taking The Tricks To The Streets
Details:
- Price: Not yet confirmed ($40 predicted)
- Arcade-style 3v3 basketball matches
- Release Date: June 9, 2026
For years, the NBA has been central to the success of basketball video games. Games without the official NBA license often struggle to gain popularity. That’s why when “The Run: Got Next” was rebranded as “NBA THE RUN,” its chances of success dramatically increased.
Instead of trying to compete directly with the main 2K games, THE RUN aims to recapture the feel of older racing games – street races with high stakes and a fast-paced experience. I’ve always enjoyed sports games that require real skill, and based on what I’ve heard about the technology and gameplay, this game seems to prioritize player expression and reward the most talented drivers.
The 7th Guest Remake
Watching A Mystery Unfold
Details:
- Price: $19.99
- Revival of a classic puzzle adventure
- Release Date: June 4, 2026
I’m super excited that The 7th Guest is back! They’re not just remastering it, but completely rebuilding the game from scratch. I always thought the original was brilliant – a really creepy murder mystery with puzzles that just clicked and smoothly led you forward. It’s awesome that a new generation of gamers will finally get to experience this classic, and I can’t wait to see how they modernize it while keeping the puzzle-focused horror that made it so special.
I’ve noticed so many cooperative puzzle games coming out lately, which is great, but I think there’s a real opportunity for a really good solo puzzle game to stand out. I personally love games that make me think, and this one seems perfect for that! If you’re like me and enjoy a mental challenge, I definitely think you should check out this haunted mansion game when it comes out in a few weeks – I’m really excited about it!
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales
A New HD-2D Adventure
- Price: $59.99
- Another Square Enix & Claytechworks HD-2D RPG
- Release Date: June 18, 2026
Don’t expect another game like Octopath Traveler anytime soon, but The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales should offer a similar experience. The team behind Octopath Traveler—Square Enix and Claytechworks—are back with a new HD-2D game, though this time it’s an action RPG instead of turn-based. While it’s a departure from turn-based combat, the game still evokes the feel of classic SNES action RPGs, like Chrono Trigger. The Adventures of Elliot will focus on a single character, Elliot, rather than a party of heroes.
The game also lets two players team up, with one controlling the main character, Elliot, and the other playing as his fairy friend, Faie.
This art style has become quite popular over the past ten years, and it doesn’t have the same impact it once did. Still, Square Enix consistently delivers excellent RPGs, and The Adventures of Elliot looks like it will be one of the most exciting new games in the genre. I’m really looking forward to it!
