To unlock the Mauritania outfit in TacSim, you’ll need to complete all 23 challenges in The Past Never Dies. But even if you’re not interested in the outfit itself, completing all the challenges is a great way to fully master the game and achieve 100% completion.

I’ve put together a complete walkthrough of every challenge in ‘The Past Never Dies’! I’m sharing how I breezed through them, and I’ve even created extra detailed guides for the really tough ones. Hopefully, this means you’ll never get stuck again – I’m happy to help fellow fans enjoy the game!

The Past Never Dies Challenges Overview in 007 First Light

Challenge Description How to Complete
Pacifist: The Past Never Dies Complete “Sightseeing”, “Easy does it”, and “Silent Line”. These challenges are all listed below, as they are pacificst related challenges throughout the mission.
Ghost: The Past Never Dies Complete “Laser show”, “Silence is violence”, and “The Big Bang”. “Silence is Violence” and “The Big Bang” can be completed in the same section (posted below), but “Laser Show” is on 009’s boat.
Assault: The Past Never Dies Complete “Fall guy”, “Bottled it!”, and “Make them count”. “Fall Guy” and “Bottled It!” are achieved in the Fight Pit, but “Make Them Count” is the very last part of the chapter.
Fall Guy Defeat Omar by throwing him over the railing. When you volunteer to fight in the Fight Pit, you’ll be tested against Omar. When the fight begins, hold R2/RT to charge him off the ledge.
Bottled It! Hit every enemy with a throwable object. There are 4 total enemies in the Fight Pit, so make sure you save the glass bottles inside the arena so you can hit each of them.
Hammer Time Defeat ‘The Hammer’ at the fight pit. The Hammer is the last opponent in the Fight Pit, so just make sure you beat the rest.
Silent Line Get the burner phone in Scorpius’ hideout without eliminating or knocking out anyone. We have a guide that will walk you through this, posted below.
Soldier Boy Use a disguise inside the Scorpius hideout. In the Scorpius hideout, you can find the disguise hat on a table on the left side of the shipwreck’s ground floor.
Art Lover Complete the Scorpius deal. The Scorpious deal begins in the market, at the back right side, after eavesdropping on the guards. We have a full guide you can find for this mission here!
Sightseeing Reach the antenna without knocking out or eliminating enemies. We have a full guide covering this stealth-related challenge below.
Secure Transaction Hack the crypto hardware wallet. You can start this side mission in the market by heading through the yellow container and eavesdropping on the man’s conversation on the left.
Shoot ‘Em Up Take on the shooting range challenge. The shooting range challenge is in the back area past the yellow container in the market, and costs $3,000 to enter.
Gunslinger Hit all targets in the shooting range. After paying for the shooting range challenge, make sure you hit all 10 targets.
Cupped Play the cup game in the market. On the right inside the market, you can play the Cup Game for $3,500. You can only win if you use the Q-Lens to watch the jewel (L1/LB).
Show Me the Money Collect 140k in the market. Complete Fight Pit, Cup Game (or Shooting Range), then Scorpius to acquire $140,000. We have a guide covering this challenge here.
Tech Support Help Rogue Decoder fix his setup. After acquiring the funds, you will find a DJ in distress. Go to the soundbar (turn around) and follow the yellow wire to the fuse box and generator.
Easy Does It Reach the crane without knocking out or eliminating enemies. After the auction, you need to complete the whole section without knocking anyone out. We have a guide covering this below, along with the “No Trouble At All” challenge.
No Trouble At All Do not trigger any confrontations in “The past never dies”. This is essentially a ghost mission where you can’t be seen trespassing by enemies. We have a guide covering this with “Easy Does It”.
Silence is Violence Perform 10 silent takedowns in “The past never dies”. In the section where you need to reach the crane, you will easily find more than 10 enemies to take out.
The Big Bang Kill 3 enemies with a single explosion. While the final encounter of the mission has plenty of red barrels, the section where you need to reach the crane is also great for baiting enemies into red barrels and then shooting them when they’re gathered around you.
Laser Show Reveal the lasers on 009’s boat in every possible way. Use the sprinklers, Smoke Pod gadget, and the Phone Dart or Laser Strap on the hanging pots.
Wheels Up Get the Land Rover to lift its wheels off the ground. On your way to the shipwreck after the crane section, you will drive a car, and just by following the ramps to your objective at full speed, you will get this challenge.
Make Them Count Eliminate 6 enemies with one pistol magazine during the last stand. After exhausting your AR’s ammo, your ally will give you his pistol. Now, just make sure to get 6 headshots with one magazine (one mag is 8 bullets, so use Focus to slow time).

How to Complete the Silent Line Challenge in 007 First Light

Once you’ve finished talking to Moneypenny, go down the stairs and turn right. You’ll see two guards near a door. You can get past them by either using the Q-Lens to mess with the TV, or by turning off the generator on the right.

After you’ve created a distraction, go inside to reach the Scorpius Hideout. You can sneak through this area pretty easily by climbing onto the box to your left, going up the stairs, and then moving to the right. The video linked above shows you exactly how to do it.

How to Complete the Sightseeing Challenge in 007 First Light

Start by heading east from the market entrance, passing through the yellow container, and then turn left. You’ll see a man talking on the phone – listen in to begin the Crypto Wallet side quest. If you follow the objectives, you’ll eventually find a heavily guarded location.

To complete the challenge, you need to get to the antenna without being seen or engaging any guards. The video shows exactly how to do this by using the predictable routes the guards follow.

How to Complete the Easy Does It & No Trouble At All Challenges in 007 First Light

Once the auction is over, your goal is to reach 009’s boat by heading to the crane. This involves navigating two sections while avoiding detection and enemies. It’s a long area, but the video shows the quickest and simplest way to complete it.
