Snake is a particularly enigmatic character in the game Graveyard Keeper. Even if you understand the quest and where you need to go, finding him can be a time-consuming process involving several steps. Once you finally locate him, you’d naturally assume progress will begin, but that’s not always the case.
Instead, Snake will send you right back out on another task, this time asking for Bloody Nails. These aren’t like normal nails and can’t be bought or made. You can find Bloody Nails by defeating Iron Maidens and looting their bodies on Dungeon Level 4 and below, and we have more details below!
How to Get Bloody Nails in Graveyard Keeper
- Bloody Nails are dropped from killing Iron Maidens in Graveyard Keeper.
- Iron Maidens start appearing from dungeon level four, so you will have to progress a bit first.
- Getting there takes a bit of time since you’ll be fighting through plenty of Slimes and Bats.
- Keep pushing through, and you’ll eventually reach the lower floors.
- Iron Maidens are a bit tougher than the enemies you’ve faced so far, but nothing too difficult if you take your time and play carefully.
- You only need five Bloody Nails for Snake, so you don’t have to farm too much. Taking down a few Iron Maidens should do the job.
You won’t find more Iron Maidens once they’re defeated, so be careful! Don’t use all of your Bloody Nails before giving them to Snake, or you might get stuck and be unable to finish the quest if the Iron Maidens are already gone.
How to Get a Bucket of Blood & Complete Snake’s Request
- A Bucket of Blood can be found inside a chest on dungeon level five in Graveyard Keeper.
- Buckets of Blood can also be crafted later on, but since you are already in the dungeon farming Bloody Nails, it’s much easier to just push a little further and get it while you’re there.
- Once you have both items, you can head back to Snake and hand them over.
- That will complete this part of the quest. But don’t get too excited just yet, because the Meat Stamp is still not yours. Snake has a few more odd requests waiting for you…
Bloody Nails are specifically for completing Snake’s quest. If you find extra ones, you can convert them back into regular nails, but once they’re used or converted, they’re no longer needed.
